MR. Steve, this panels are a work of art, im gonna try to do the same thing following the steps you showed, thank you for the videos i really appreciate them, they are very educational
Yo Steve,I'm about to try my hand at glassing and had some questions 4 U.
1)What did you screw the blanks down to? I noticed that you put a screw in the middle of the blanks,is there another blank in the other side of the fleece behind the door panel?
2)Also,what is the purpose of the foil?
Any help you can shoot me is appreciated.Keep doin' your thing Bro!!
@ONE2DHEAD the foil will keep the mock up wood stuck to the panel. so instead of the mock up wood being stuck, the foil will be stuck, and the wood would be free. and you can tear up and clean the surrounding.
yea man at least i can say your good at what you do. all i wanted to know was what do you do for a living to afford such amount of equipment? im young now but as i reach your age i want to have what you have. that is all
Ugh every time I see cut up fiberglass mat I get this tickle in the back of my throat, from my first glassing job that I was too ignorant and stubborn to wear a mask...never again!!!
the black pigment and the white fleece is actually a really clever idea; ive seen a lot of people leave bumps under the glass cause they couldnt tell where they brushed
hey steve bro shit man u know alot um i get a question noone can help me with i got a 12" rampage made by audiovox umm i was wondering what hase more bass an enclosed boox or a ported box? im dieing to know i need to know lol if u can help broo fuck i ow ya alot lol thnx dog
Dam Steve like all say Straight Skillz man hands down dude keep it up that tahoe is gonna be nice when ur done. but man doing that u must of went throught a lot of cloths :) anyway nice job man
Hey MAn..Are YOu GOnna Do More Demos With Other SOngs I Have..I Got A Bass Album Comin Out Pretty Soon Called "Monsta Bass" And I Want To Send You Two Tracks To Demo Off That Album..Could You Do That For ME??
i agree well in its own right depending on the teaste of a person and the cars theam painted is nice but doing it to match the upholstery looks more clean and look like there stock modified pannels from GM
oh for sure bro its usually real nice WORK when i see painted panels, no doubt, it takes lots of skill to pull off a clean paintjob - but for me, its to flashy, i with you - stock "modified" panels from GM LOL - modified in a big way :D
nice work man need to go to a junk yard and get some door panels for my build thanks for videos steve and for braking it down with all the step to do something like this yourself
Dude you are the bomb when it comes to stereos there ain't NOBODY better then Steve. Good job on the panels I know it takes forever. Can't wait to see the results.
Lol ya I know but usually everyone else gets it done by a shop were as you build it yourself I love the new setup "clean bass" one day I will have cash to do a real setup like yours haha I do everything myself too I say why pay a shop when you learn from experience doin your own..
I can remember back in the day I used to roll around sporting some pioneer 6X9's in a closed box sitting in my rear window & a home stereo 15" tower speaker in my trunk can u say "ghetto" lol but we were all kids one.
@wallace86442 hey mann yea those wer the days..i use 2 roll around in my dodge shadow sportin som 6x9 sony explodes those things wer the best bang for your buck..well atleast from best buy and i had 4 home jbl audio system speakers in the trunk.banged like hellp but even now i still have those jbls lol..
nice! so are u gonna do a two tone on ur doors like on the box? or just one color? but god damn whatever you do that looks freaking sweet! probably the doors itself are louder than some of the systems most ppl have in their cars haha
steve i want to thank you so much for putting all these vids up you have shown me and all these people how this stuff is done and i cant wait to customize some of my rides ....
Steve thank you so much for this series. You have inspired me to get back upto speed on mobile audio. 20 yrs ago I was way into it & then I moved to Alaska & wasnt able to play anymore.
