You don't need em. And you know that room filled with statues in the background? (It's a SubSpace room) Well somewhere in the middle, the should be an arc shaped purple thing. (Check your map for a dot if you can't find it.) Press up there and prepare for the worst. Tabuu.

Percent completion doesn't affect the character unlocking in SSE... You should atleast check that you're going to a right door and that you're sure you haven't unlocked him before to your team..

The idea was, for people to find ways of unlocking the last 3 characters without just completing SSE. If they put all the characters in the SSE storyline, then you could unlock them all by playing it once through.

Wolf's skill has nothing to do with the skill for the bosses... it's completely seperate, try fighting a level 9 fox when you are fox on the same level and keep practicing

complete subspace emmisary then follow this vid, or complete subspace emmisary and win the boss attack mode with fox or falco, or even better just do 450 offline brawls, really easy just do a 1 life stock match loads and run off the edge, can get all the characters to appear really quick

On a second note, this also applies to Jigglypuff and Toon Link. They also won't appear until you've beaten it.

Also, the Japanese and North American Brawl aren't too different. I doubt you have to unlock them differently.

And to those who are confused, this is only accessible if you have BEATEN ADVENTURE MODE.

This will not work if you haven't beaten it. There's no way around getting Wolf in Subspace without beating it first, so it's pointless to try this without beating it first.
