Ken Block isn't familiar with any of the rallys his doing right now, so he dosen't knows how's the surface, and many other things, so let him finish this year and next year we can see if he really has some talent for rallying or not.
Don't ever forget, that in some countries of Europe, like Finland, kids learn to rally as soon as they can, like 10-12years...
People, don't forget one thing, Ken Block might be really very skilled, and i'm not even American, but look at Kimi Raikonnen, a former F1 champion, he's not getting any results also, and he's driving for the Citroën that has a much better car now.
The problem is that rallying is very complex, its not everything about the driver, 50% of the responsibility is from the co-driver, don't forget him.
Just think how difficult it is to adapt to a person that's leading you with their their notes!

Subaru quit the WRC that's why ken drives a Ford. What most people don't realize Ken is driving the European Fiesta which is made in Germany and the Fiesta in America is made in Brazil. There's a huge difference all the German Fiesta/Focus/Escort are rally spec machines and the ones we have in the states are modest grocery getters

@Lumixster I have been driving for 7 years, i am 27 years old and I own a 3 litre v6 renault clio, which i want to get rid of, because insurance is killing me. My little v6 is just as fast and as powerfull as that tuned subaru and probably half the weight. You must remember that subaru is tuned up for doing those types of stunts and stuff, same what they do with "F1 cars, the team gets the car ready for a specific track and tune the car to that track. Cars like this are built for a purpose.
@Lumixster they are built for that purpose however if you mean to say that he will put his car thru more than the usual wrc drivers then you are sadly mistaken, Block is relatively new to this level of rallying in comparison to the likes of th fins and others who have spent most of their lives doing this. I mean this with the upmost respect for Block, He is great, probably one of the most technically skilled drivers yet we know that his gymkhana trials are practiced and practiced and practiced

Im happy for ken that he found a company that will help him out in achieving what he wants to do in WRC. If Block wants to continue in the WRC there are sacrifices. And quite frankly If he is a good driver with motivation, a car change shouldn't make a difference.

Ken is an entertainer not a professional "WRC Driver, he said himself there would be no way of him being in the top 10, he said i am not experienced enough, i am not as good as what people think on tarmac. he comes from no rallying background none.

@Lumixster I have been driving for 7 years, i am 27 years old and I own a 3 litre v6 renault clio, which i want to get rid of, because insurance is killing me. My little v6 is just as fast and as powerfull as that tuned subaru and probably half the weight. You must remember that subaru is tuned up for doing those types of stunts and stuff, same what they do with "F1 cars, the team gets the car ready for a specific track and tune the car to that track. Cars like this are built for a purpose.

@Lumixster they are built for that purpose however if you mean to say that he will put his car thru more than the usual wrc drivers then you are sadly mistaken, Block is relatively new to this level of rallying in comparison to the likes of th fins and others who have spent most of their lives doing this. I mean this with the upmost respect for Block, He is great, probably one of the most technically skilled drivers yet we know that his gymkhana trials are practiced and practiced and practiced

@Lumixster and to add to my previous point he. although he will do a lot of testing and shakedowns, he will no get the chance to practice the stages to the same level as the locations for his Gymkhana trials. I wish him the best of luck in his rallying career but it won't as easy for him as alot of people think. We can only wish it is!

I think that ken did what he had to do to further his driving and move on to WRC. I am sure he would have stayed with subaru if they where still in the WRC. Ken block is my hero for sure and being a subaru driver my self i can say i am not a hater. Plus over all subaru will be fine they still have pastrana.. GO TRAV....

Colin McRae changed team I think 4 times? And we all loved no matter what team he was on. Everyone loves Ken Block, and when he changed to Ford many started to hate. Can someone explain this? Shiet I can't even get mad if I lose to Ken in Dirt 2. Stop hating and be a true fan, Ken Block will be the very best.

yeh i think block is a amazing driver BUT the guys in the WRC are elite and he doesnt stand much of a chance against them, hes a good stunt driver but hes not a true rally driver..... i just dont want him to lose his reputation over here in europe when his european fans see that hes not as good as they thought he was!......... he could be in some cool movies though!!

Im happy for ken that he found a company that will help him out in achieving what he wants to do in WRC. But Im a huge subaru fan and owner, and would like to have seen him get the support he needed from them instead, but Im sure he'll do great regardless. There are alot of pissed off posers tho that just spent mom and dads money on Monster/Subaru/DC shirts with kens signature. hahaha. Im looking forward to the New England Forest Rally.( Closest to home. )

@gameguidesrus you just need to relax about it a bit. he has built his career on gymkhablablabla - whatever it is called - and has now enough money to race in WRC so he gone for it. Good for him, good for the sport. So far he's on learning curve and he has to learn a lot to be able to compete for points, let alone podiums.

Subaru SWRT resigned from the world rally 2 years ago and had no interest in Ken ..They released of their factory drivers Petter Solberg and Chris Atkinson, Subaru team is not participating in the rally, have no competitive car several years in WRC. Ford with european based Focus is one of the best world rally cars with 27 wins in wrc since january 2006, while Subaru zero..
