NOT Czech Republic band, but from Sheffield, England. The group was formed in 1978, with two members, Adolphus "Adi" Newton and Steven "Judd" Turner. Clock DVA's name was inspired by the Russian-influenced Nadsat of Anthony Burgess' A Clockwork Orange; DVA is the Russian word for "two". Adi had previously worked with members of Cabaret Voltaire in a collective called The Studs and with Ian Craig Marsh and Martyn Ware in a band called The Future. Ian and Martyn went on to found The Human League.
this is made with emulator E-MU Emax or E-II ....i hat two of this sampler....remember the presets...i had a album of Clock DVA...long ago...thanks for upload...great times the 80s nobody thought in this time we get all digital...analog machines are and was better..
Better and more intelligent than most modern-day techno ... always on the flipside of a cassette tape (remember them?) with Coil's Horse Rotorvator. Ahh the university memories are coming back in a non-MP3 format...
THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR IT SINCE MY RECOVERY!!!!
