  • @3NG000

I dont spread propaganda, your country does.

It also covers up modern day british defeats that were committed during our wars in Iraq and Afghan.

  • @3NG000 similar?

Ive seen the HM forces website. Both the marines, grenadiers, basic soldiers and paras run a 1.5 mile PFT and shoot out to a mere 300m.

In the Corps, we shoot out to 500yds and run a FULL 3 miles.

We're 40-50% better trained and held to higher standards.

The only people in the us armed forces who run a 1.5 mile PFT and shoot out to 300m are USN sailors.

Your Marines can drop on request during training, ours cant...hence the high drop out rate and low troop retainment

  • @3NG000

We have the O course, which we do in bootcamp and throughout infantry school with fully laden packs.

My attitude? I run a PFT that is 2x longer and shoot nearly 2 farther and more accurately than a british commando and somehow Im lower on the totem pole?

Royal Marine history is plagued with surrenders retreats and blunders and yet they try to compare their record to the same US Marines who took dozens of Pacific islands from the japs. Brits couldnt handle the japs (Singapore)

  • @ArabFlintstone

go on, piss off you silly dole scrounging dirty disloyal filthy scumbag, go, fuck off cunt, big boy behind you keyboard aint you, tosser.

  • no

  • 5 people are in the 99.99%.

  • wish there was like a civilian training week or something where the training/procedures is identical but you haven't actually signed up for anything because I want to give it a go but can't decide, I think I'm afraid of the dramatic change of life style more than anything.

  • @SuperStrykeZero I think there actually might be, like insight courses or something? Pop in to your local careers office and ask.

  • lol 'don't even fill in the form'! hahahahahah

  • Am i hard enough? Yea im pretty hard atm...

  • I don't get these kids who argue... Half of them have probablies never did any sort of physical training like the Army does... That ALL Armys not just 1 specific one... end of the day both USMC and RMC train there arses off beyond the boundaries alot of people can imagine, besides you can't choose what army you go in like a bag of candy!

  • @GoreJoint You do know that regular british infantry is equivelent if not superior to the USMC .... not rubbign it is... jsut saying :)

  • @XxGREATxBRITAINxX Yeah i'm british and proud to say our Marines are superior, but the USMC are still utter badass and deserve equal respect for there training not kids saying crap about them :L Wouldn't mind being a Marine but Army will have to do haha!

  • @GoreJoint Yeah same, I'm not one one those chavs who beats kids up or steals but I've got a conviction, just the one, a little mistake I made... and the Marines can't touch me for five years >.> i'm applying for the Paras on monday! :D lol

  • @GoreJoint

the USMC never surrendered to turks or argentinians....the USMC never failed an amphibious landing like the RMs did at Peiho and Russia 1854.

The USMC never mutinied...the RMs did in 1919

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 and the Royal Marines never got thier arses kicked in Vietnam and DON'T say you didn't!!!

  • @allgoonersaregay

the US Marines never lost a skirmish or battle in vietnam. Despite being around 5x smaller than the US army at the time, we won the most Pres. Unit Citations and spearheaded most offensives. The goal of the USMC is to win battles not wars, but USMC did contribute to both the revolution and the war of 1812 where the US navy had a 3/4 succes rate over the RN and Royal Marines.

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 The RMs surrendered to the Argentinians!!? Yes, a small garrison of them were caught by surprise and had no choice. The Argentinians soon paid for it though.

  • @allgoonersaregay

    THEY SURRENDERED.

400 US Marines fought to the last at Wake Island against the whole jap invasion force.

2,500 japs lay dead after the smoke cleared.

Im sure those US Marines had no other choice

we believe in something called death before dishonor.

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 I could name a few times the US Marines surrendered...

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 sinse when did royal marines fail landing to Argentina have you even though in a country were air defence works of radar which is useless in mountainous terrain no and as for the turks you werent even in the war at the time america never knew what the 1st ww was like the normandy landings in 1944 were the us marines there no were the royal marines there yes your marines were too busy fighting gay japs

  • @lostlaces

lmao...please dont badmouth the japs. The Japanese soldier (30,000 of his friends) made 120,000 british and commonwealth troops surrender in one day without a shot fired at Singapore. The Japanese soldier was the worthiest opponent the US Marines ever got to fight. We as US Marines captured entire ship complements of Royal Marines in the past in cases such as HMS Drake, Serapis, Levant, Cyane, Trepassey, Atalanta, Nassau,....., but we only captured 120 Japs on Iwo Jima alltogether.

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 JAPS ARE COWARDS THEY KILLED THEMSELVES THT MAYBE WHY YOU CAPTURED 120 IDIOT

  • @lostlaces

Japs cowards? I have respect for my enemies...It was 7,000 japs who defeated 40,000 percival's british troops in malaya and 30,000 japs that convinced 120,000 brits and aussie troops to surrender without firing a shot.

On Iwo Jima, out of 21,000 Jap KIA, we only managed to convince 120 to surrender....Japs dont surrender anywhere as good as the brits

  • @lostlaces

Royal marines failed the Zeebrugge raid of 1918 and the Petropavlovsk and Peiho landings in 1854. The latter two landings was were the US Marines were called in to bail the RMs out.

After 1854...whenver the US and royal marines operated together, the RMs were always under US Marine command.....in cases such as 1900 Peking and 1950 Chosin.

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 royal marines were cutting about for 101 yrs before us marines existed look at your uniforms hmm royal marine design look at your traditions hmm royal marine traditions if it werent for royals us marines wouldnt exist

  • @lostlaces

US Marines trace origins back to Gooch's Marines of an earlier period, altough a few of its early members were royal marines turncoats. We stole all our symbolism from the RN and RMs after defeating them in battle.

We got the fouled anchor from the RN at Lake Erie and the globe from RMs for bailing them out at Peiho in 1854.

In 1916...USA was profiteering over european stupidity and eagerness to kill off their brothers. The Sarajevo assasination had nothing to do with USA...

  • @XxGREATxBRITAINxX

the british infantry retreated out of southern helmand and basrah all in one year = 2007....while the USMC was spearheading the Iraq war.

The sole reason the USMC was fully transferred after helping win the Iraq war in 2009, was to push the tide back in Helmand.

The USMC never lost 60,000 men in one day, that bragging right goes to the british army....july 1 1916.

your infantry is equivalent to our boy scouts.

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 1916........... Almost 100 years ago .... the point is our training is far superior owing to the distinct difference in numbers, the fact is we all bring good/bad qaulities to the table ... the fact is the British Army brings most of the qaulities to the table.

  • @XxGREATxBRITAINxX

what qualities? Our navy sailors PFT matches that of your infantry, grenadiers paras and marines. 1.5 mile run with a 300m rifle qual. Until your marines run a full 3 miles and shoot as far as we do in the USMs (200-500yds) then you can claim quality.

The rifle qual for the entire british army is 300m....the distance we shoot in the pitch dark with NV optics and lasers.

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 sorry mate thats the basic 'military' requirement...and the run is 1.5 group then 1.5 individual (so 3 miles if that floats your boat)minimum 5 pull ups after and some crap sit up and jump test ...(still nothing as we all know) and also they have to do a ACFT which is 2x 8mile run marches with 50lb of kit and wpn. again that is all a basic test that must be done each year. The royal marines 'POTENTIAL' recruits must pass on day one the full USMC test.UK US both good troops

  • @tiggyhunter

agreed on the last part BUT...the requirements to commence both USMC and RMC training are identical with the exception that the USMs require an extra pull up. The difference comes later on when 1st phase US recruits are asked to do a full Marine PFT of 3 miles, 20 pull ups and 100 sit ups.

The RMC only ask for 6 pull ups (like the US rangers) some push ups, sit ups and a 2x1.5 mile run down with a break in between.

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 Tarzan assault couse, endurance run, 9 mile speed march, 30 miler run ,all in the commando phase of the 32 week 'basic' royal marine training. i have worked extensively with both RMC and USMC both great -with up to date combat experience but 'Royal' are by nature a better solider less insert cassette press play than their US counter part. However the logistical combat power of the US machine is non arguable....impressive to say the least.

  • @tiggyhunter

We have a version of the tarzan course...called the "O" course...we do it with packs. Identical to the RM course. Its a qualifying evolution for us too, just not emphasized at all.

The big headaching difference with USMC and RM training is that we train by specialty after bootcamp. The basic 0311 trains for 30wks total. If he's lucky and passes the recon indoc, he may actually qualify for recon school.

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 thats only the tick in the box test for all military teeth armed guys in the uk and not a marines specific test so the 'legal' requirement the RM do much more but also required to do that as thats just the way it is - but their specific RM test are considerable. respect to both though but as a organisation grows the general quality drops slightly so a unfair comparison i think as the USMC is about the size of the uk armed forces so they are bound not to be quite as good.

  • @tiggyhunter

"USMC is about the size of the uk armed forces so they are bound not to be quite as good."

what the fuck does that mean?

USMC spearheaded the iraq war from day 1 and has now been transferred to unfuck Helmand and recapture the loss of terrain by british forces in 2007.

USMC formed the cornerstone of the defeat of the jap empire in the 40s...the same empire that embarassed the british army in malaya and won every battle of the campaign in 41-42

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 lol i love the way you get so pissy! relax dude, be careful what you say uk was in the south doing all the hard work in the toughest areas and did we complain, no... fair play to the states for stepping up and coming in too with twice the manpower...which is needed in such a bad area and have also sadly taken some serious casualties(and initially lost the ground uk had held by collapsing some of the FOB's.however this is not a whos dick is bigger contest simply saying

  • @tiggyhunter

4.000 RMs were at Sangin for 4 yrs loosing 100 KIA 3x WIA and couldnt pacify the town or area....3/5 did it in 1 yr.

Higher caliber you say? Just who the fuck took southern helmand and Marjah? We've turned the tide with ANA help and are there to stay. We couldnt wait to be done with Al Anbar in Iraq just to square away Helmand.

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 mate i think your a bit deluded......and strange if you think it is all sorted and pacified there now!?! lol you really are why most of the world hates america! dicks like you giving the rest of your nation a bad name! cant show respect for guys that died on the field! shit man stupid comments like that make me almost have more respect for AQ than you- and your facts are all over the place...sounds like been sucking on home grown propaganda;-) lmao at you

  • @tiggyhunter

You have misdiagnosed the issue here.

Everytime I hear a brit open his suck, its always brits are the best at this this and this...we never loose, higher standard bla bla bla

Im reality. You make claims without fucking proof and then you make an ad hominem end to the debate by turning on me, ignoring the subject at hand.

If you cant back up your higher standard claim...shut the fuck up

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 lol 'turning on you' ha mate but you make yourself such easy prey....with ridiculous comments! i will take your advice and shut the fuck up as i cant handle your dribble any more! however a RM wouldn't even get passed potential recruits course with the USMC min requirement which is: a male recruit must complete at least 2(lol) pull-ups, 44 crunches in two minutes, and run 1.5 miles in 13:30 (lol) minutes or less. not to mention you have hundreds of chicks obviously harder

  • @tiggyhunter

the embarrasing part here is that female Marines run a whole 3 miles during their PFT...the RMC PFT is only 1.5 miles with a rest period between the indiv run.

To get past the PRMC requirements you need a minimum of 1 pull up...we ask for 2 minimum on the first day. Once that recruit becomes a Marine he's asked to do 20 pull ups...RMs only ask for 6.

Both USM and RM recruits enter bootcamp with nearly identical requirements.

Except we go the extra 1.5 miles in phase 1

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 the 1.5 the RM do is not a marine test! its a standard military test!! RM also have to do 2x8 mile march runs with 55lb of kit wpns and then add water....even for the standard military 1.5 mile annual fitness test the uk males get two mins less time to complete than the USMC equivalent at the same distance.1 pull up are you kidding!?! they would not pass with anything below a A and B pass which is a combination of tests but looking at ten min after 8 pints of cider! ;-)

  • @tiggyhunter 55lbs? My flak without the ammo weighs 60lbs. Last time I did a 25k, my pack wasnt under 100lbs not counting the M249. Point still stays, we run faster and farther. We shoot farther and more accurately. We've been the worlds top marksmen since 1778 alongside Morgans riflemen.

The RMC and para PFT is a 1.5 mile run that is done twice...not continously. You cant compared continous times to interupted ones

  • @tiggyhunter

besides this...female US Marines shoot out to 500yds...while the RM shoots out to 300m during rifle qual.

Table 3 of USMC rifle qual has a 300m portion...AT NIGHT in the pitch dark.

What you need to get into the prone for and can only do in daylight, we do in the dark.

the SA80 has no rail attachment for a PEQ16

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 that pound for pound the royal marines are a higher caliber of solider than the average US marine it a well established and know fact. what i said about size means that the USMC being so big (rough size of uk forces) that it is impossible for them to be as quality man for man as the uk marines who are a much smaller fighting force. "unfuck Helmand" show a little dignity and respect mate the guys that died there deserve a little more of you appreciation

  • @tiggyhunter

higher caliber than a US Marine? proof? We run a full 3 miles to the RM's 1.5 miles...and we shoot 200yds farther and more accurately. Our rifle qual course starts at 200yds...which is medium range for an RMC..We shoot the 300m RM course at fucking night with optics and lasers.

We also have history to prove it.

Judging based on size makes you loose wars

I cant show any respect because USM 3/5 lost around 40 KIA taking back ground lost to the taliban in 07 by brits.

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 i like the idea of the two cap badges side by side- dose that not make a entire globe? cool, anyway i think the uk us relationship is a unique and pretty cool one. i thank both RM &USMC for doing what they do and wish them a safe tour and journey home.

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 were were the americans in 1916 oh thts right too fucking scared to fight a war cowards your country is like the germans not shouting. impossible. to fight a war without support look at all wars america is in supported in all. we can win wars on our own unlike you we had an empire unlike you

  • RMC has higher physical requirements than other conventional forces.

  • @catbearlol not really the usmc has about the same and just because it isnt a requirement to get in doesnt mean it isnt done in boot camp.

  • @heavy383 can u repeat that, with proper punctuation? i was talking about the physical tests you have to pass in order to start boot camp. they are harder. and the RMC is considered to be better and tougher than most other ground forces.

  • @catbearlol well in that case the requirements to pass are about the same and also the rem is more of a specialty force sort of like special forces whereas the us marines are more of a large scale infantry attack force.

  • You got to be tough to miss spell enough!

  • .........i put it to you, that you think that the us armed forces are the best in the world & nothing can match them in any situation end of question & i grant you that as far as equipment & funding goes there are (very few ) countries that could match that, but as far as training and Professionalism go there are many regements from around the world from many diffrent armed forces that can match & sometimes surpass the us armed forces just have a little objectivity .....(subject closed)

  • a state of f@#king misery haha hoofing!

  • stay away from violence and agression and situations that increase the chances of it. beign part of a big group of people like this increases you chance of getting into fights. VIolence and aggression is negativity. YOu will find that negativity comes from below when you are thinking. negative aggresive energy comes from below part of a person. You dont want to carry somebody elses bad energy. dont get involved in somebody elses mess

  • @210482fmj What a pussy. War will never go away and sissy, pot smokin' hippies will NOT save the planet. Violence is necessary, not for fun, but for freedom. People like you would not be able to bitch if it weren't for us warriors.

  • @raywhiteusmc you either attact or create.

  • *looks down*

    yep, i'm definitely hard...

  • They make that tunnel seem so long lol its like a meter or so long, ive been through it, smacked my head on the concrete lol

  • LoL " these people below me, fucking bunch of teenagers who can think they can make it into the royal marines ....

It´s a state of MIND. for all you douchebags out there. go play some more Call of Duty BLACK COCKS

  • @Jelcroo they can make it into the royal marines, if they put there mind to it.

  • I'm a boxer and I think i've got the fitness, strength and ability to be a commando, its my dream to make to the SBS, I'm joining the RMC when I'm 18 and I can't fucking wait :)

  • @EllisFitz1995 worth joining the PRMC forums if you havent already wwwprmc.royalnavy.mod.uk

no end of useful information, dits and people on there.

you will see within no time that fitness, strength and ability are only half of what it takes, if that.

well worth looking into the forums

  • @EllisFitz1995 its not about the physcial, its just part of it, youll need the mentality, anybody can be fit, but not everyone can be a Marine, like they say "Its a state of mind" if i were english id join but im sticking with the US Marines

  • @dasdasist go for us rangers instead they are commandos but the us marines arnt, im not sayin there crap cause they aint but they arnt commadoes

  • @Ske11en Hey dummy. It said ROYAL Marines, not U.S. Marines and yes, they are Commandos. I worked with them in Spain and holy crap, those guys are insanely awesome. 1941, the Marine Raiders were the 1st US Commando BN but the term Marine Commandos was shot down by Commandant Holcomb. 1942, army Rangers were embedded with British commandos (Operation torch). Rangers are Commandos, true, but so is USMC MARSOC and the Navy Seals. Commandos means "Special Unit".

  • @raywhiteusmc yes i know that ...but i was refering to the us marines as a whole not all of them are commandos

only some of them are (USMC MARSOC ) but ALL royal marines are. i was just giving dasdasist an opinion

im not bashing the us marines im quite sure they are very competent at what they do . you need to stop being so overeactionary to any comment that dosnt overwhemingly praise the usmc but as an american (no offence ment) i suggest you have little objectivity in this subject.

  • I am as fit as I can be but I wouldn't apply for the marines because I know I couldn't handle it. Join if your 100% sure it's what you want. Don't join because your good at Call of Duty.

  • that tunnel is called the sheep dip btw it's not that long in training it's just exagerating it there.

  • @rugbylegendbeyyz have u done it cuz i wana find more out about it

  • Love this advert.

    99.99% fuck off

  • i prefer this type of advert, this way pansys will be put off. Show it like it is =)

  • been there done that ;)

  • 99.9% need not apply fucking epic adverts.

  • BASS!!

  • ive yet to find one military video that doesnt have a bunch of teenagers arguing all over it

  • @Se7enFo4ce for real.

  • @Se7enFo4ce 99.9% need not try.

    i.e there isn't one

  • To be a Swedish paratrooper you have to run 10kilometers under 39minutes, after 3days of awaknes...

  • im hard enough to do all this shit cuz im cuban and we take this shit as a hobby unfortunately chondromalacia is killing me

  • @yandykun you guys crawl tight underwater tunnels in heavy kit for fun? neat

  • @Se7enFo4ce Yes. it is the only way to escape from a catch game lol

  • @yandykun lol whatever Castro.

  • @gunnermac70 Im sat Here Pissing my Pants at your comment, nice1

  • @rugbylegendbeyyz the underwater culvert is what is shown in the advert, not the sheeps dip

  • if i was british and had nothing better to do in life...

    this would be my occupation...

  • @Flipnoy808 WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU ON THIS IS A GREAT OCCUPATION AND NOTHING BETTER TO DO ? LMAO THIS IS A GREAT INFACT NOT A GREAT ONE OF THE BEST ACHEIVMENTS IN THE WORLD SO IF YOU WANT TO ARGUE COME OVER TO BRITTAIN AND DO THE TRAINING AND IF YOU PASS THEN YOU CAN DECIDE UNTIL ANY FURTHER TIME WICH WILL BE NEVER BACK TO BED U LITTLE FUCK

  • lol if that was me in the underwater tunnel thing id get stuck coz of my fat arse woooo

  • retired chinese air force reservists are better!!!! thats how stupid most of the comments are...

  • @MrNavySEAL13 Mmmm 17 years old says it all.

  • 0.07 his face lol

  • This is why i hate the water LOL

  • marines best in the world nutcases but the best fighters on the planet lol

  • This is an awesome vid. These guys are for real, trained with BRM's alot in Okinawa/Korea/Phillipines, in the 80's Like i said, FOR REAL.

    Semper Fi.

  • are the Royal Marines like the equivilent to Marine Force Recon? Or Rangers?

  • @Rookie4563 Royal Marines train for 35 weeks before they can progress to become a soldier so therefore are the highest trained elite force in the world. the american forces dont train to anything near that long their marines only train for 13 weeks so whereas we have quality they have quantity im more than certain the US will have better funds so better equipment etc. so whereas we have quality they have quantity. there is no right answer both have positives and negatives

  • @Ba55lineuk Actually Royal Marines train for 32 weeks and with the USMC its 12. But still 12 ain't enough to make a real soldier. US army do 14 weeks, British Army Infantry do the 26 week combat infantryman course at Catterick, 28 for Paras and guards, 2 weeks P company for paras and for the guards 2 weeks extra on Drill. No matter what rout it is we surpass the US at military training.

  • @Plekky08 We have to with such short numbers and funding!

  • @NicenEasyuk We would train our men that long anyway in order to get the best training to troops, how do you think we earned the reputation of having some of the best soldiers in the world!

  • @Plekky08 the Army has 14 weeks of bootcamp? I don't think so, you can't include AIT as "bootcamp", the Marine Corps is 12 weeks basic, 2-6 weeks MCT or SOI then 8 weeks to 50 weeks of schooling based on the MOS. As far as the Brits, I have no idea, the ones that I ever dealt with were some awesome trigger pullers and absolutely professional.

  • @tinman1102 12 weeks basic impressive, royal marines do 32 but yeah... as for the 14 weeks basic why don't you go check the us army site.

  • @tinman1102 Thanks for the compliment.

  • Respond to this video... oh and buddy, US special forces and ops all train for an average of 2 years. your british SAS train 2 years also just like US spec ops/forces

  • @MrNavySEAL13 SAS train 2 years on every subject of training 2 years artic 2 years woodland and so on

  • @Rookie4563 Royal maries are better.

  • @Rookie4563 yeah because there is no such thing as a basic marine in the UK. a royal marine is like a special force or operation. but the sad thing is people in the UK compare their royal marine commandos to a US marine. but if you want to be pathetic and compare people you will never be half of compare them to US Recon marines.

  • @Rookie4563 No Way Royal Marines "Commandos" Marine Force Recon Are Just Marines Rangers are ARMY Royal Marines are Commandos they are superior but they work together so it realy dosent matter UK+US Forever Allies

  • @Rookie4563 Closest US equivelent would be Navy SEAL's.

  • @SOPARA862k lol no equivelent, SEALS got naf all on our Marines

  • my daddy got in - i'm so proud :)

  • @AnonymousSONGmaker

-_- And then he'll be what? MIA?

  • @nutszbullex u r a serious twat

  • @AnonymousSONGmaker Good stuff ;)

  • i didnt know the sheep dip was that long. shit. im claustraphobic. id be fucked.

  • @JonnyA2006 it isnt that long, it is exaggerated on the video.

  • sick video but learn how to spell enough lol

  • look your all waffling quite alot of bullshit. if your running less than 30 miles a week mixed with alot of plymetric ( body weight) exercises and probably playing rugby/football in your spare time dont bother going into the careers office.

its as much mental as it is physical. you have to be thick skinned and intelligent enough to take it.

course its all a piss of piss nowdays lol

  • gotta love the video... the sheep dip is nothing like that... best part of the course, 10 seconds of blissful weightlessness

  • hmmm that kid looks 12 and has anyone got any tips for fitness i can do push ups and sit ups easy and the royal marine way but i cant do pull ups for shit

  • @8assassin8 i would reccomend adding weight with your pullups. although most people i've seen who can't do pullups are generally a little overweight, so also i would try using a lateral pulldown machine and increase the weight gradually on that until you are on a weight about 30% heavier than your bodyweight.

  • bomshiz, my prmc wer given a two minute rest for a piss :)

  • a think tht kinda training would b enjoyable if ye didnt needty do it at such a fast pace

  • @1kellysman haha it is not supposed to be enjoyable its supposed to be agony which it is

  • @thebombshiz it wid be good but if ye did it wae aw ur mates in yer own time

  • WTF do they really do that in training?? i would panic so badd..

under water loosing my breath and in something that small..Clostophobia in a whole another level

  • @rabies79 There not sniper training though, thats basic, swedish sniper training is nothing compared to royal marine sniper training.

  • @rabies79 u no jack shit blond twat

  • @rabies79 yes most of it starts with oryal because a queen runs the country so therfore it is royal and not everything BA BTA RY RMC RAF so realy you should just stfu Royal Marines are one of the best forces i nthe world

  • @TheMortonnn The queen does not run our country, Parliament does.

  • @spinaway But the Queen is at the tip of the spear she basicly owns it

  • @TheMortonnn Not so The queen has no power in Britain whatsoever, if parliament decided to Get rid of the royal family then they could and the queen has no say, oliver cromwell removed all power from the royal family, Now they are just symbolic. An outdated institution.

  • @spinaway well there thats why then they are Symbolic to Brittain ther for that makes a reason to have the armed forces udner as Royal

  • @TheMortonnn I wasnt disagreeing with you about the royal thing, I was just saying that the queen has no power in britain. shes like the spirit of extacy on a rolls royce, not actually the car if you know what i mean.

  • @spinaway yes thanks i learned alot in theeese short views to this haha lol

  • @rabies79 only certain regiments start with Royal, they are the ones created by a king/queen, so regiments like the SAS, SBS, Parachute Regiment don't have the Royal prefix as they were created by soldiers or polititions.
