  • I actually have a cassette tape of Twinkie leading this song and Mattie directing. I wish I knew how to get my cassette stuff on youtube. She tore it up! I wonder why Karen or who ever was giving Bettye the words just didn't lead the verse cause she left out alot at the end of the verse. LOL

  • The COGIC sunday school lesson this week came from Revelations chp. 7 and I thought of this song!

  • OMG they sound JUST LIKE THE LIVE recording on the CD!!! LOVE IT!

  • I'm surprised that the mike wasn't taken from the lead, she just jacked that song all up,..the song itself is wonderful,(especially on the SW Michigan album) but this particular version?? with Betty @ the lead....Not good...she was horrible, somebody was not paying attention to the director....

  • @cwshere1 I'm wondering what happened at 5:57 when she gave the microphone to someone else for a few seconds and then took it back. Did she need to clear her throat? You can see the Presidium (General Board) starting to get restless or over-anxious on the lower tier of the podium. Beautiful song, I remember it well, only too long.

  • Beautiful song, I remember it well, but I think they stretched it out a bit too long.

  • @dallaskenn It was farrrrrr too long! LOL

  • I absolutely LOVE this song. This song is from Mattie Moss Clark's 1984 album HUMBLE THYSELF. This song was written and arranged by Elbernita Twinkie Clark. Bettye Nelson is actually NOT the leader of this song. The other lady singing with Bettye on this version actually leads this song on the lp

  • who is that singing with Lady Nelson??

  • @njharris27 I'm uncertain.
