Its actually a harmony with Will and Guy, type it lovers in japan live at later and you'll hear and see the harmony very clearly

theres a couple times where the guitar messes up...its pretty obvious they're playing real instruments if you just listen

in all live coldplay performances they have backing tracks to nearly every single song. think the strings in viva la vida, the sytnths in clocks, the strings in "in my place", the piano in life in technicolor etc. etc. etc.
