  • I have a problem with my RGB LED. I can't control each color seperately with PWM pins, because there is only 1 pin on the LED to power the LED, the other 3 remaining pins on the LED (red, green and blue) have to go the ground.

Do you know what I should do to make it work?

    Many thanks,

    Pvsmuntje

  • @Pvsmuntje you should connect each pins (red, green and blue) PWM

  • I've tried that, but that doesn't work. That's my problem. I can connect the longest lead to the PWM, and the other leads to the ground. That works. Could it just be a wrong LED? If that's the case, could you please send me a site where I can buy an other, good LED?

    Thanks,

    Pvsmuntje

  • you have what is called an "ANODE" RGB LED so all you have to do is connect the ( LONGEST) pin to 5V+ and the R.G.B Ping to the PWM, simple :)

  • You can purchase sparkfun

  • @ozhan6 I got it to work now, but could you send me the source of the program, for both C# and Arduino? I would really appreciate that, because I can't get it to work myself.

  • where i have to put the program for the computer?

just like you? (e.g."C# with arduino)

  • can you show me an example of comunication with the computer?(the program from the PC)

i want to learn to make a program that process the information from arduino

    nice job!

  • @RobertEaglefy thanks
