The 18-270mm VC has an angle of view of 5 degree at the telephoto end, whereas the Nikon 55-200mm has an angle of view of 8 degree at the telephoto end. The 3 degrees angle of view is hard to see. I suggest you do the following: Set your camera fixed on a tripod, put the 55-200mm and set to 200mm, take a shot of an object, then replace the 55-200mm with 18-270mm vc and take a picture of the same object. You should then be able to see the difference. Hope this helps.
I just brought tamron 18-270, when i got home i compare the range with my nikon 55-200, i have the same result with my nikon at 200mm and tamron at 270. Is this normal??? suppose to be the tamron have a long range rather than nikon.
if you´re gonna show off a lens at least set the video resolution to 720 , you don´t really get the idea of how good the lens is here...
