  • this things are so fucking bad ass, i know they where once used in warfare, but its hard not to speak of this "weapon" so brightly

  • I have a really intersting story about this spitfire...

When the previous owner passed away, and the spitfire was put into auction, a friend of my fathers was giving the duty of doing the test flights on this spitfire earlier this year... The owner used to love White Waltham airfield, and his wish was to have his ashes scattered there. So my father's friend who had been overseeing the restoration, took his ashes in the spitfire, flew over waltham, and threw the ashes out the canopy... RIP

  • i've just won 3m on the lottery any idea where i can get one!

  • hehe I am sure you can find one if you look well enough

  • He greased that one..impressive flying.

  • Are those markings on the Spitfire Dutch? My Uncle was in the RAF -Dutch 322 Sqdn during WWII and I was wondering if that was from the same Sqdn?

  • Yes they are Dutch markings and the aircraft depicted did serve with 322Sqn. The historic aircraft we are representing is serialed BS147, and it was in Dutch service between 1948 and 1957.

  • Great work, guys.
