  • Absolutely Beautiful. Todah rabah! Shalom!

  • I KNOW WHAT THE WORD HASHEM MEANS, I'M JEWISH!!!!! THE ONLY WORD TO REFER TO G-D!!!!!!!!!

  • The premise behind deleting the vowels in His name is to "not take His name in vain". It has Nothing to do with being in temple or not. If you do not use the letter "O",then that is your level of righteousness. You should also then understand that not everyone is of your level of piety and therefor if you want them to be there, you must teach. In order to teach, you must explain.

Additionally, since all the English names for HaShem are ENGLISH, the closest one to the relevent Name is L-RD. Whi

  • and why the hell do we fucking humans destroy this world....

  • THIS IS MY FAVORITE SHABBAT SONG

MY YOU HAVE AN WONDERFUL SHABBAT !!

  • Would love to have the English transliteration of the words.

  • The SAME Hebrew word pronounced by Orthodox Jews "Elokim" (see Genesis 1:1) is also used of human leaders of His people (see Psalm 82:1)..It seems, therefore, that this is not a NAME but a descriptive noun. HaShem revealed his NAME to Moses (see Exodus 3:14). The commandment against taking His NAME in vain (Exodus 20:7) refers specifically to this NAME, which has four Hebrew letters. It seems superstitious to me to avoid pronouncing or spelling out the word "G-d" but let us respect one another.

  • Once again, praise G-D , no problem or even better, praise Hashem...

  • @SuperHadassa1 the word Hashem means "the name" too impersonal and could apply to many gods, PRAISE GOD!!!!

  • TO US IT IS NOT!!!!!! PLEASE DO SHOW SOME RESPECT...

  • @SuperHadassa1 Praise God!!!

  • BARUCH HASHEM!!!!!!! If you DO need to mention G-D, please, meantion him this way... G-D... Never HIS name should be written in full... ( Thou shalt not use HIS name in vain... ).

  • @SuperHadassa1 stupid superstitious crap. God is not a bad word!!!

  • @karmalevel

although it is not a "bad" word is disrespectful to anyone who is religious. there are different versions of many song that use both the hashem and more formal phrasing.

hashem is to be used outside of a temple service in respect.

even if you don't believe it yourself be kind to those that do.
