Oregon was a 4 pt favorite in this game, and everyone hyped THEM to hang 50 on Auburn. Everyone down south knew what it was, but Oregon fans were so blinded by a solid offense beating up on bad defenses, it inflated their egos. And Auburn was just a decent SEC defense, they'd of probably gotten shut out by Bama or LSU.

I really can't for the life of me understand what all this bickering is about. I'm an Auburn student and a diehard tiger fan, but this was a close game. It came down to the wire and Auburn pulled it out in the very final minutes.

The reason ore run game sucks is because all of their runs are basically ran out of a zone read with the qb keeper or to lamichael or option it off.its not going to work all the time if u dont have blockers blocking as if it was a power running game, thats the prob if they run with power with the guards and linemen help blocking then maybe he would've scored on that play..zone blocking scheme is not a good way to run the ball, especially against a dline like this

As an Auburn fan, Oregon needs to look up. They are going to have a sick team next year. They will be a preseason top 5 no doubt, and if they are able to beat LSU that season opener, they could easily land in the top 3 in week 2 of the 2011 season.

that was the best officiating i seen in this years bowl season, im neither a oregon or a tiger fan but oregon's QB darron thomas need to learn how to make a fuckin read properly, that guy played horrible when it came down to the zone read plays, he left 14 pts off the board that i counted, including tons of 1st downs. oregon's QB was a choke.

I really can't for the life of me understand what all this bickering is about. I'm an Auburn student and a diehard tiger fan, but this was a close game. It came down to the wire and Auburn pulled it out in the very final minutes.
Oregon is a classy school and a classy team and they played just as good if not better than Auburn in many parts of the game. So please just quit the bitching and appreciate the game for what it was: a close game between two very very good teams.

are yall ore fans kidding? aub dominated. au had 3x's to put the game away on a over throwed ball to 89 adams..the fake run by new and he passed which was underthrown and the reason ore scored after newton fumble was because of the ref big ass was in the way, so the game was dominated by aub, the only play that ore did was worth something was that pick in the 1st qtr and when the LB forced a fumble from newton, otherwise aub controlled the los and the game

The reason ore run game sucks is because all of their runs are basically ran out of a zone read with the qb keeper or to lamichael or option it off.its not going to work all the time if u dont have blockers blocking as if it was a power running game, thats the prob if they run with power with the guards and linemen help blocking then maybe he would've scored on that play..zone blocking scheme is not a good way to run the ball, especially against a dline like this

@Kroder ima free safety at rockdale county HS in conyers GA. my name is neville hewitt. i get alot done on the field my dude. if u wanna kno more about me just type in my name on google or on here to see my highlights. my high football IQ and understanding alot of different types of offenses, like all great defensive players do, i can see all the mistakes he made which cost his team pts. only reason why he threw for those many yards was b/c of the ballsy deep passes called by kelly.

@jmateen1 Actually after the sting of the loss dissipated I see your point. Watched some clips, talked it over with friends and the general consensus was he blew some very important reads. Specially the one when he got sacked. Lamichael could have waltzed right in for a TD had he given him the ball.

@Kroder they didnt recruit me, i got alot of attention from maryland terps, and GT, and a few SEC schools, but it looks iike ima be heading to the acc for college. im glad u saw my point, i was pissed that oregon lost when they could have easliy won by 2 possessions.

@jmateen1 Auburn could have put up 14 easy points that they didnt.. cam's short armed throw, cams over throw to a wide open reciever. Also, when players are slipping when they try to pivot or sprint, it hurts the faster, more physical team. Which is obviously Auburn. Oregon was a good team, but Auburn without a doubt was better

@jam46283 auburn was no match for that hurry up. had oregon scored on those possessions, the momentum wud have been goin their way. a few of those mis reads i saw could have gave them the lead or expanded it, making your "auburn was better" part of your comment irrelevant.

@jam46283 Yeah they were better by 3 points and two seconds. That was it. Oregon beat themselves. Auburn didn't beat them. If Chip would have keep the pace we used all season, Auburn's fat boys would have been huffing and puffing and having "cramps" by the end of the second quarter. Just like all the rest of the teams we played last season. Anyway, good luck next year without Cam, Fairley, and your two star receivers. :)

@Kroder Auburn didn't beat them? Really? Then how is it that Oregon was shut out for almost 40 mins? How is it that the best RB in college football was held to less than 50 yards? How is it that you got stood up at the 1 yard line? How is it that on just about every offensive play you guys went backwards? Sorry, dude, you guys got beat this year. How is it the Heisman trophy winner didn't run for shit either? Just about every play we went backwards eh? I suggest you watch the game again as well. @Kroder Oregon "didn't play their game" because they couldn't. They were being pushed backwards most of the night. Auburn scored 6 points in the 2nd half according to the ESPN scoring summary. Oregon scored 8. From the 2nd quarter all the way up to the last 3 mins of the 4th, Oregon didn't score a thing. LaMichael James had 49 yards total. You've gotta be a troll. Nobody can be stupid enough to say stuff that can be easily disproven. Good job trolling!
