You don't have to have a PhD to know that vegetation is not possible on Venus O_O Venus' atmosphere is made up of about 97% CO2, which is an excellent example of the green house effect as it is the hottest planet in the solar system, and not the closest one to the sun.

I've heard both sides. I'm an Independent, so I don't need to toe the Party line. And I think the truth lies somewhere in between.

For one thing, Savage, who may be right in what he says, conveniently leaves out the fact as to one reason why carbon dioxide levels have risen is because humans are significantly reducing the forest areas around the world. So there are fewer trees on the planet to convert the carbon dioxide to oxygen.

So the carbon dioxide increase cannot be utilized as before.
