i definately agree with you, the album lacks a little "oompf" but unfortunately 1 of the 7 times i saw them, anthony's voice was shot. i dont blame him at all. singing like he does all the time has to take a toll on you. so luckily geoff rickly of thursday came out and helped him with more powerful stuff! that made for something memorable!

Chiodos as a band has a very different sound than Circa Survive. Chiodos uses keyboards and heavy riffs, and screamo, and Circa Survive isn't anything like that. But they're still both good bands-probably my two faves from the record label.
