Guaranteed, when I eventually get round to making my next vid, the expected dwindling amount of views it'll get won't detract me from the enjoyment I had creating the video. If anything, comments and views merely stand as a bonus to the experience in every video.
In short, you should be the one to decide what content you ultimately create and what content your comfortable creating, not the viewership.
That said, there's certainly no harm in collaboration; I'd encourage it :P

If you enjoy contributing content to this site, and you enjoy partaking in the various YT projects you generally undertake, you shouldn't be concerned about the viewership; it's nothing but a statistic.
