Luther, Calvin, Knox, Owen, Boston, Manton, Erskines, Renwick, Cargill, Cameron, Waldo, Tyndale, Whycliff, Spurgeon, the reformers, the puritans, the covenanters, ALL to the man taught from Scripture that the pope of Rome is THE antichrist and the doctrines of Sovereign Grace as the Gospel. I know their message and I love it and recognize my Lord in it. It is because my love for Scripture and these old witnesses that I protest against Mr. Washer, because Mr. Washer brings himself and not Christ.

Deter1805, before you judge and condemn someone and somthing, you should first consider what and who it is you are condemning, inquire the reasons, proof, and motive behind it, and than make a righteous judgement based on knowledge and NOT on outward appearance. To make a judgement and condemnation because you do not know or understand something is to so the least very biased and bigoted.

You are despising the prophetic utterance. You also belong among those the Holy Spirit is addressing in these "sermons." Repent!

Everyone who is a christian, who knows the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is born again, who walks daily with its ups and downs, and loves the truth of Scripture, is able to make a better message than Mr. Washer anytime. Mr. Washer repeats his punchlines, his radical exclamations, his own subjects over and over and over again for years without any developement in depth, in scope, in application, and in warning. He is still talking as a first year bibleschoolstudent after 20 years of study.
