Early, no, you have alot of downtime between fights. But as you get good gear your dps and tankyness increase alot so it gets alot better.

they can take tons of damage and do tons of damage but if you want a full tank guardians do the second most melee damage unless thats the warden i havn't play since mines of moria came out

Champion is a damage class, Guardian is a tank class, and Captain is a support class. Warden is backup tank, there you all go

@JanickYoung Actually, the Warden can, and is supposed to be, the equal of any guardian tank. It is true you will see many guardian tanks being more succesful, because the warden is a very complicated class and hard to tank well with. But, when done correctly, they can easily tank as well as a guardian.

guardian has alot of attacks which only can be used after the enemy strikes you - a defensive class and guardians can take more punishment

no you dumb ass dps is damage per second. what THAT means is most damage per second. Great damage is a nuker which is possible for champions if they use two hand weapons

naw i think of them as more a mage/warlock combo cuz the lore-masters can have pets.

yeah true, i c that now.. my last comment/anwser was based on stuff i read.. musta missed that bit.. but yeah mage/warlock is a good description.. but their actual direct damage capability doesn't even scratch the surface of a mages but thats more than made up for by the pets.

I got a lvl 50 champion and they dont do much dmg. Around 600 dmg and a hunter can crit around 2000 dmg..

the champion can wield shields and heavy shields but even with those they can not tank because guardians have skills 4 example evade chance +5% or pary chance +10% and thats what realy maters.

champs are not as good a tank as a gaurd, not as good at dps as a hunter but they are in-between....they are a tough class a pvmp but they are not unstoppable, they can use heavy armour so they can protect themself but they dont have a shield, moves and stats for tanking like a gaurd.

every one knows that champions make the most dmg with good equipment, and since the book 9 patch they have even grown stronger with skills up to lvl  50 witch no other klass has ;) I play a champion and they rule^^

you're kidding me right? Champ is aoe damage dealer, they cannot tank and squishy though not as bad as hunter, Guardian is the pure tank. Try put a champ in a situation where he need to fight like 4 mobs or more at the same time, he cant do it only Guardian can survive that.

Champions are IMO the only class you can compare to a WoW class except for Guardian ofcourse. I would say it's a fury warrior and i wouldn't say it's better tank than a Guardian. And they do not have the best dps as that is the role of a hunter. And they have been nerfed alot lately.
