I still can't get over the fact that The Bills were favored over The Redskins in Super Bowl 26...obviously the Cowboys were no joke in that decade because they won the most Lombardi's, it makes sense that they were favored against The Giants cuz they lost to Buffalo during the regular season when Jim Kelly went down, but Washington really embarrassed them when this team was at it's best.

They say going to the Superbowl and losing is more devastating than never going at all. Remember the 1998 Vikings. They were 15 and 1. They rolled over everyone. I think they probably would have won it all. They lost to the Falcons, at home in overtime in the NFC Championship game. That's gotta hard too. I really hope the PATS win on Sunday. Take care :)

I never liked Buffalo, even back in these days, but to go to the Super Bowl, and barely lose, then go back and get blown out by both Washington and Dallas, but have enough courage to go back one more time, is really something. They deserved to win a Championship. Of all their players, I really enjoyed watched Jim Kelly back in the day, and its sad as great as he was he never got a ring.

I am born and raised in DFW, Texas so I am a Cowboys fan, but this installment of the missing rings is a tear jerker. I know quite a few people call the cowboys the team of the 90s but damn buffalo was AFC champs for 4 straight years in the 90s and it one of which they mounted the greatest comeback in NFL history to get to the super bowl. They did really deserve the ring especially against the dipshit Giants hahahahaha!!!

If anything, the Buffalo Bills had the BEST Offense in all the AFC for all those years. The only team that can be argued was better, was the Oilers, but the Run and Shoot destroyed them in the end.

In terms of snakebit franchises, you have to put the Browns at number 1. The Browns have back luck period. At least the Bills made it to the Super Bowl 4 times, 0 Super Bowls for Cleveland. And everything seems to go wrong for Cleveland. In 2007, all Cleveland had to do was beat the 5-9 Bengals and they make the playoffs, and they blow the game. I can't leave bottle gate out for Cleveland's back luck. And in 2002, they blew a 17 point lead to the Steelers.

In 1968, Buffalo gets lucky when the Eagles hand them the number 1 pick, whch that year was OJ Simpson. And I'm referring to his football playing days. And you have the greatest comeback in postseason history. So you have to put the Eagles and Oilers ahead of the Bills.

this is still my choice for the most exciting Super Bowl ever..." a classic battle of wills" as NFL Films put it in their SB XXV film. people forget how good the Giants were that year--they started off the year 10-0, lost their starting QB and still finished 13-3 and beat the 2-time defending World champ 49ers in San Fran...NY also allowed the least amount of points defensively....I felt for the Bills team and fans and the character it takes to come back from a loss like that is immeasurable

They should have won SB XXV. If they would have, I don't think that they would have been to four straight. They may have made it back the next year, but Washington would have beaten them, albeit in a much closer game because the Bills wouldn't have been as uptight with a title in their belt.

It's an unfortunate case of running into teams who are just a little better. I always thought they turned the ball over so much in the final three because they never really recovered from Wide Right. It sucks but at the time the NFC was so much better than the AFC too. People called the NFC Championship the 'real Super Bowl.' From the Bills perspective, they were at the time the absolute best team in the AFC, and regardless of what happened in the Super Bowl itself, sure they deserved to win one, but just making it there 4 times is a pretty big accomplishment. That in itself ain't easy to do.
