That's pretty much it. I occasionally keep my fingers on the 3rd fret on the B and high E string during chord transitions (making some of the chords different, i.e. Cmaj7 instead of C, Dsus4 instead of D, etc.). Also, tuned 1/2 step down.

You're welcome, and I agree - Cloud Cult is one of the most amazing, underrated bands out there, and duplicating them is impossible. Sometimes, it's better to play the song as it strikes you - even if its different and not an exact imitation of the original. I'm sure if Cloud Cult were to hear this, they would agree. This captures the heart of the song, and what could be better than that?
