  • This song has comforted me after devistating news about my best friend Cole Edward Smith.

  • @jesusjacket Friends are friends forever, if the Lord's the Lord of them...... So true....I pray for God to work in your friends situation. Have faith!

  • I'm a member of the American Fork High School Marching Band and we play this song after every competition. About 2 weeks ago was the last time I listened to that song (and sang) with some of my senior buddies. I bawled like a baby. This song is very powerful.

  • @1pwright, have you forgotten repentance? There's no redemption without repentance [Heb10:26-27]. Christ told the adulteress to STOP her adultery! Adulteresses like Amy who refuse to STOP join the children of disobedience [1John3:4,8] making themselves God's enemies [James4:4] who are promised God's wrath [Eph5:6, Matt7:23]. Hell is real, & if Amy's prior claims are true, she is beyond hope [Heb6:4-6]. Christians are not even to pray for the hopeless [1John5:16; John12:40; 2Thes2:11-12; Rom11:8]

  • @BryonH1, are you truly foolish enough to believe you can avoid the wrath to come by being cowardly [Rev21:8] & ashamed of God's Word [Mark8:38]?

Are you one of those worshipers of Amy Grant who, like her, think you can clutch to your sexual immorality & have salvation too, without repenting? Well, God says you can't!! [Heb10:26-27, 1Cor6:9]

If you persist to deny that God is Judge [John12:48], & that His wrath is promised to the lawless [1John3:4,8; Eph5:6, Matt7:23], you'll regret it forever

  • @Duckie608, it's pretty obvious then, don't you think, that the Lord is NOT the Lord of an unrepentant adulteress like Amy who leaves her husband to have illicit sex with another woman's husband? [John14:24, Mark10:12, 1Cor7:10-11, Rom7:3, Luke16:18, 1Cor6:9, James4:4]

  • The praise team I'm in at my church sings this all the time. It's one of our favorites.. The other night three of my best friends from my school and my boyfriend were in the audience during our coffee house.. We decided to sing this song and as we started I looked at them and couldn't help but cry.. Friends really are friends forever.. If the Lord's the Lord of them.. <3

  • @1redsoxfan1963, what makes Christians sad is to see people like you remain ignorant of God's Word, knowing that the consequences are eternal [John8:24].

If you do not Know Him, how will you ever love Him as He prescribes [John14:24] & obey Him?

If you wrongly think that you can remain in unrepentant, disobedient sexual immorality like Amy or sodomite "bishop" Gene Robinson, then you will suffer their fate [1Cor6:9, Heb10:26-27, Eph5:6]

Don't glory in your ignorance. Heed God's Word!!

  • @Angelwhisper1225, you should be ashamed of yourself!!! Contradicting God's Word [John7:24, 1Cor6:3], flirting with blasphemy by calling God's Word [John12:48] "nastiness" & "garbage" while parading your unbelief as you chant the mantra of wiccan worshipers of the lilith manifestation of satan.

If Amy's prior claims are true, she is an apostate beyond hope [Heb6:4-6], & Christ's disciples are told not even to pray for such hopelessly lost [1John5:6].

    You better read Rev22:19.

  • красиво поет Майкл Смит

  • Heel mooi gezongen en het filmpje is ook mooi!

    Prachtig!

  • Jézus a legjobb Barát !!!:)

  • so funny how so many of my friends are already in the spirit of God, those that have passed on, some of my closest friend s in the spirit. strange i wish some dayman walking in the flesh could only be so filled with the love for one another.

  • Why is the power of convictions so powerful? because those who understand it, are those who know our lord and savior christ jesus, not the frustrations of man, but the love of the purity of a heart of many. love is true, and let conviction not ever be so strong that it allows the evil to lie and say you are worthless for love of God says you are worth more then what the evil of man will say you are. Jesus Died because everyone was worth it.

  • Kinda disappointing that Amy only sings during the chorus, but its a good rendition all the same. Thanks for posting.

  • @Moviefan2k4 This isn't a rendition, it's the original version of the song.

  • @highway2heaven91 I wasn't aware of that. I'm used to the album version.

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • If you like "Christian Speed Rap" - Support Relentless. Subscribe to my channel ModernDayBeast. God Bless & Forever Forward!

  • @unclejess71, I know just the thing to draw you in. We'll have a beer bash and orgy for Jesus, and we'll cut out all parts of the Bible that you find offensive, especially the parts where God says unrepentant adulteresses like Amy, plus "arsenokoites" and "malakos" [1Cor6:9, Heb10:26-27] go to hell.

You'll be able to do whatever you want, and pretend that you can have sexual-immorality and salvation, too, until you croak. Then, you'll find out it was a lie, but so what? You're there anyway.

  • That song was sung at the funeral of a friend of mine who was killed in an auto accident in 1987. Very moving

  • to this day this version of the song is still being song by millions in weddings and graduations and other great events and has a lifelong meaning... in my opinion this song will outlive both michael w. smith and amy grant by thousands of years

  • Their voices blend nice

  • When i graduated from the 5th grade our chorus class sung this at the graduation!!! and im 22 now! And still remember all the words :)

  • wow. Ya'll fight like unsaved politicians. I'd wanna join your religion with all the love that's going on here.

  • Yo, Paxlesus, because satan has been fighting Christ's brethren (who do NOT include Amy [Matt12:50]) and God's Word longer than you have, I guess by your statement, you support the devil.

Such is not a good long-term strategy, as the consequence will be to share the eternal fate of such children of disobedience as Amy [1Cor6:9, Eph5:6, Matt7:23, Heb10:26-27], apostates [Heb6:4-6, 2Pet2:20-22], blasphemers [Matt12:32], those given over by God [Rom1:28, Rom11:8], and other unbelievers [John8:24].

  • @Paxlesus, and so you do not hear Him! The apology you will have to make is not to the world, but -- likely too late -- to God for being ashamed of His words, and not believing Him. While you seek, like Amy, to embrace the world, it is John the Baptist whom Christ valued above all men, and the martyred Apostles who stood, as you deem, disagreeably in the minority.

Ah, but when the unrepentant adulterers of the world applaud you, you know you are not in God's favor [John15:19, James4:4].

  • @Paxlesus, you need to hear God at Mark8:38. He speaks for Himself. His Word doesn't return void. He cast no stones when He told the adulteress to STOP committing adultery, and He is not casting stones when He tells us that unrepentant adulteresses go to hell [Heb10:26-27, 1Cor6:9].

You are flirting with blasphemy when you call God's Word vitriol, and the very kindest thing He could say to you would be Heb5:12-14.

If you can't answer Luke6:46, like Amy you will receive His promise at Matt7:23.

  • @yeeeaaawhooo well said ... there are VERY few who will be bold in The Lord these days for fear and apprehension of reprisal and resentment from others WELL SAID AND WELL DONE !

  • this song made me cry

    because its so wonderfull

  • god is so wonderfull

  • we played this song at my grad. I cant keep or get it out of my head:)

  • @junekeefer71, why can't you hear God tell His disciples 1Cor6:3? "Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?" Or John7:24: "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment!”

Because He tells us John12:48, we Christians point to Him and believe Him when He says unrepentant adulteresses like Amy are His enemies [James4:4] enroute to hell [Heb10:26-27, 1Cor6:9].

He did not cast stones when He told the adulteress to STOP!!

  • fabulous job on this video. This video is so beautiful.

  • @1redsoxfan1963, shame on you! How can you call yourself educated while remaining ignorant of the largest-selling, most-studied, most-influential, most-written-about, most-important book of all time, which Abe Lincoln said is: "God's greatest gift to mankind, revealing all that the Savior has to give."

God is the judge [John12:48], and He says unrepentant adulteresses like Amy are His enemies [James4:4] enroute to hell [Heb10:26-27, 1Cor6:9]. If you refuse to listen, you won't hear! [Jn14:21-4]

  • @mysticunicorn1968, you can opine for pages, but if you have no Scriptural support, you have no more authority than the unrepentant, unbelieving children of disobedience, like Amy, whom God says have made themselves His enemies [James4:4]. She is in on-going adultery right now [Mark10:12, Rom7:3, 1Cor7:10-11, Luke16:18], as God Himself judges [John12:48, 1Cor6:9, Heb10:26-27]. Christians believe God and love Him [John14:21-24]; Amy does not. She may be beyond hope [Heb6:4-6].

    Hear Mark8:38 !!!

  • nunca dejes que un buen amigo este solo ,porque un buen amigo es amigo siempre.......

  • Today marks the one year anniversary of the death of my Grandfather. He was one of the most special men I've ever had in my life! He loved his wife and family more than anything (even Nebraska football and the Cubs)! He never left anywhere without telling us how much he loved us! I love and miss you Grandpa! My world just isn't the same! I dedicate this song to you, because you weren't only my grandfather, you were one of my best friends!

  • I love this song!! Friends are friends forever through the Lord Jesus Christ!! You may lose friends is this life but if you are a child of God, you know that one day you'll be with your friends again in Heaven!!

  • This is my favourite song! ever! even if I think its for a very close person that died..i LOVE it! really I dedicate this song to my Teacher that I miss very much

  • When I graduated from Mena High school in 1989 I was in the choir and we sang this song for the ceremony. I almost didn't make it through without crying. It was really special.

  • my school choir is singing this for part of the grad ceremony for the graduates at my school, its so beautiful, and i cry everything sing it :')

  • My best friends in my entire life, loved this song. Wish we could meet up at the pullaup fair.

  • i love this song! when i was in new bern at their concert, they sang this

  • es maravilloso como realmente el amor de DIOS se manifiesta en nuestras vidas ;te invito a tener un encuentro personal con EL no te vas arrepentir......

  • @elsiefloyd, silly girl, those are God's Words, not mine!

    He's the One Who tells us all the things you found so offensive: [Luke8:21; John14:21-24; James4:4; Heb10:26-27; 1Cor6:9; Eph5:6; Matt7:23; John12:48].

He also tells us why people find God's Word offensive, and why such don't hear or heed Him: [John8:47; John3:20; Rom1:28; 1John3:8; Rom11:8; John12:40; 2Thes2:11-12].

We believers believe Him, unbelievers don't, or they would STOP committing adultery, given the eternal consequences.

  • @elsiefloyd, are you the CINO proposing to replace God's Word with her own vain imaginings? The one who doesn't know who God says are His family [Luke8:21], who loves Him and who doesn't [John14:21-24], who are His enemies [James4:4], and who are going to hell [Heb10:26-27, 1Cor6:9]. Are you also an unrepentant adulteress like Amy or an Herodias who thinks that censoring God's Word will change His mind about the children of disobedience? He promises them His wrath [Eph5:6, Matt7:23]. Heed Him!!!

  • To my brothers and sisters in Christ: I desperately need your prayers as I have been in severe, constant pain since I herniated 2 discs in my back on the job in 1998, So, in 199, I had back surgery, that after 6 hours was finishe, took almost a year to recover a little, but the constant, continual pain I live in every waking moment is so painfulm, like someone twisting a knife in my back! So, please get family, friends, pastors, and church members to pray for me! I will hug you all in heaven!

  • @Godman123able, you have much study to do to show yourself approved, newbie. [Hebrews5:12-14]

Why do you claim redemption without repentance? Why do you disparage and take such offense at God's Word? Have you not read John12:48? Has God given you His Word in vain? We have no power to condemn anyone; Amy is condemned by her willful disobedience! Why don't you believe God when He says James4:4, Heb10:26-27, 1Cor6:9. Eph5:6? Are you an unbeliever?

God is not kidding when He says Matt7:21-23.

  • @RiversCards (aka. RioFlujo), the very kindest thing I could say to you is Heb5:12-14. You seem very immature. You need to study to show yourself approved! You seem intent on emasculating God's Word by either attributing His pronouncements to me, or worse yet, not believing Him. Where is the love in remaining silent while little ones are led to sin by Amy's adulterous celebrity model? Herodias didn't gain Heaven by calling for John the Baptist's head.

    Hear John7:24, 1Cor6:3, Mark8:38, Rev3:16.

  • friends are friends forever.. not in my life that is

  • Comment removed

  • @RiversCards, don't you know blasphemy is NEVER forgiven? [Matt12:31] It's blasphemy to attribute to satan what is of the Holy Spirit. God's Word convicts, sin condemns. God's Word is the eternal judge [John12:48], and He says unrepentant adulteresses make themselves His enemies [James4:4] and go to hell [Heb10:26-27; 1Cor6:9]. Believers believe Him; clearly, Amy does not. Why don't you believe Him? God says if Amy loved Him [John14:21-24] she would keep His Commandments, including 1Cor7:10-11.

  • @voiceoftruth25, it’s far, far worse than your foolish “He doesn’t like sin” statement. God hates sin so much that those like Amy, who refuse to repent of adultery, go to hell. God says so! [Heb10:26-27, 1Cor6:9] The sexually immoral, a/t God’s definition, who think they can band together, tell each other they’re OK, and make up their own theology to allow them to clutch to their sin and have salvation, too will discover like Herodias and the rich young man, that they CANNOT! [Matt7:23]

  • @yeeeaaawhooo My comments that I posted to you 2 days ago, were BEYOND rude. There was no excuse for that, and I am sorry.

  • @voiceoftruth25, thank you. You are a big person. Welcome to the family. God bless you.

You will discover that there are many people around us who profess to be Christians, but who deny God's Word, and who refuse to let go of the things that offend God, and to love Him and follow Him as He prescribes [John14:21-24]. His Way is not always the one that requires no sacrifice and makes you happy and rich like Amy or the rich young man at Mark10:21. Lustfully, Amy denies God's Word at Mark10:12.

  • @yeeeaaawhooo I know what you are saying here, becuase I did the exact same thing before God finally broke through to my heart. His mercy found me, and I just pray that it will find Amy.

  • @voiceoftruth25, once I found a pastor friend in his office in deep sadness. When I asked what was wrong, he said, "We can't save them all." It reminded me of Christ at Luke13:34, Mark10:21, and Matt9:36.

God's love is immense, and His mercy endures. But, He also is holy, righteous, and just; many people like Amy who want to have their sin and salvation too, deny that. God does allow us to choose to go to hell, and He even gives some over to their own counsel and the lusts of their heart.

  • @yeeeaaawhooo Yep. I can see this in many diffrent places, because I saw it in MY OWN refelction when I looked in a mirror in the past. As the old saying goes: you can't have your cake and eat it too. You can't have your sin and God too!

  • @jmorganf, it is precisely because God is holy, righteous, and just that He says unrepentant adulteresses, like Amy are going to hell [Heb10:26-27, 1Cor6:9]. He, indeed, is the judge, and He is no liar. What He says is true [John12:48] and will come to pass [Matt7:23]. Unrepentant adulteresses who do not believe Him, and falsely think they can continue as children of disobedience [1Cor7:10-11] have sold their inheritance for a bowl of on-going adultery stew.

  • This is the senior's song at our final concert every year. We have a slide show of all the senior's going while we sing. It is a good reminder of what high school is all about. That the friends you make there will always be there for you.

  • This is the senior's song at our final concert every year. We have a slideshow of all the senior's going while we sing. It is a good reminder of what highschool is all about. That the friends you make there will always be there for you.

  • I remember this song as the music for our last day of 5th grade slideshow back in 1996. I remember it like it was yesterday. One of my favorite song.

  • How hypocritical and empty this rings in the mouth of an unrepentant adulteress who lives in daily disobedience of God's commandment to the married at 1Cor7:10-11. Secular people wail and moan about losing their friends, while hypocrites like Amy Grant croon to them of friendship while making themselves enemies of God [James4:4] and selling their inheritance in Heaven for a bowl of stew [1Cor6:9]. People who love adultery more than they love God will experience His promise at Matt7:23.

  • @yeeeaaawhooo, Who are you people to judge someone. Shame on you. God will judge. Remember he is a merciful God who will forgive those who repent. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Why don't you spend some time praying about your own sins.

  • @yeeeaaawhooo good for YOU.For saying it JUST as it is.Theres very few children of God these days that will tell it like it is for fear of the standard accusations of being judgmental;hypocritical;UNloving:UNGodly. And SO many hold back what they feel and think ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAVE IT BASED ON GODS HOLY WORLD.Because they are too weak minded and weak willed to deal with an onslaught of resentment from those who are "star struck" fans of those who have shown WHO and WHAT they really are.

  • i really love ds song. it reminds me of my bestfriend..

  • I love this song about enduring friendship, which is not diminished due to distance. As a family, we experienced this with friends of us, when as Missionaries, we moved to Africa and then to Tiawan ROC.

  • I adore this song, someone copied and pasted my channel and put a very bad remark on about it that was not made by me. I love all Michael's work as well!

  • I will always love this song!

  • JESUS you are my BEST FRIEND forever...I love you !!!!

  • When I was principal at Seattle Christian in Seattle WA, my family and I were preparing to leave for the Belguim Congo for a 1 year stint as Missionaries, serving as Headmaster of a school. The school, the students, the parents, the PTA and the teachers all sung this meaninful song about the enduring relationship of Christian friendship. It brought tears to all our eyes. God is so good to give us good.

  • OMG @sweetrose1944 what are you on this site for and downing anyone like that for Your Not anyone to Judge just as I am not But of all places to post a comment like this I do not think this is one of them I hope you realize that God is for you and you come to live by his word and obey him.... I loved the song it was great and presious and I sure will have my son listen to it he goes to church alot but this is beautiful

  • This is so beautiful, I could watch it forever! God bless, from Rose!
