Lap times around a roadcourse are what these bikes are made for and as far as I've seen over the years they are pretty close in that respect. Suz won many AMA championships however they had the best riders hands down. Spies switched to yam and stepped up a level to wsbk and won 14 races which he prob would have still done on a zuk. Of course sbk's are nowhere near the same as a stock 1k. They are about $200,000 better. The gsxr1000 and R1 have 1/4 times that are within a 1/10th. That's hardly

BUT.......my bike has WAAAAAAY more power, speed, acceleration, and cornering ability than I do skills. So yeah, like you said, all the liter bikes are SOOOO close. It comes down to what brand you like, what looks you like, etc. I mean, people who rip on one brand or another, it's just silly. All the bikes are ridiculously awesome, fast, and amazing. Same goes for the 600's.
