Well next time you visit Whistler ride down A-Line on a Huffy while everyone else is on a Yeti 303RDH, Specialized Demo 8, Rocky Mountain Flatline, Santa Cruz V-10 and other kickass DH bikes and see how you fair against them. You could be Hans Rey, Brian Lopes, Steve Peat or Chris Akrigg and eat it when the bike "fails" snapping the head tube, seat tube and top tube when you do a 10ft 30ft gap step off.

Have broken GTs and have not broken Mongooses. Have snapped Diamond Backs and Haros but my old Shwinn Sting I still have with no cracks at all and its done 15ft REAL drop off to flat land not that donkey kong crap you see at Chicksands.

What Mountain Bike and Mountain Bike UK did and article on the cheap brands verses the great brands and the guys who were professional riders were skeptical riding the cheapies apposed to the Intense M3 with Fox 40RC up front and they were right for the stuff they did the bike snapped in half and that could have been his leg or back. I first started out on a Huffy and it broke then a GT and that broke then the Yeti and it is super strong. Skills are #1 and bike #2. Peace! =)

Don't stick your leg out, even if you had been able to put it down at that speed it would just have pulled you off, try to hoist the bike as level as possible and go for the landing leaning back, even against a rough mud banked side, you'd be amazed at how you can get lucky. I know it's just automatic reaction, done it myself many a time, but I now try to hang in there and seem to get lucky a lot more often, Lol. Good clip anyway, cheers.
