Load was more Indie but was more of a tribute to his parents "until it sleeps, mama said ect.)

The only reason you expect "badass solos" is because dave/megadeth is mostly solo's. shorter 3-5 minute songs with atleast 2-5 different solo's. for me, after hearing that stuff for years, you get sort of bored and look for more then solo's.

I can play this whole album on real guitar (except for some solos) and I can say that all of these songs are charted pretty well. They didn't overdo the solos or anything and they didn't leave anything out. Love it!
