@PrEdAtOrZ97 In the DVD Special Features for the film, they show that they used both(Green Screen and President Kennedy). The footage was real,but the person that shook Kennedy's hand in the actual footage was painted out of frame to place Tom Hanks where they were. They used hanging Tennis Balls to mark how he would move to "shake" the President's hand. It was then aged to look real. What's funny though is if you notice when JFK turns around, his tie is a different color. Hehe
