I saw a Muse concert on cable & flipped out. GREAT band, wildly eclectic. I can hear influences from prog or art rock to, new wave, alt & straight up metal and classic hard rock. Then I see them play THIS! Freaking ballsy & shows what they're willing to do! Man just a really great band doing an obscure as hell cover. The are the antithesis of mtvified & approved corporate shill dictated cool music! True artists carve their own path! Talk Talk, Joe Jackson, Mak Tub, they're in great company!

Only Charles Bronson could play it better. He had a creepy echo even in open space without any amps and shit. One can never achieve the lvl of awesomeness that Charles Bronson had reached in Once Upon a Time in The West. Metallica did Ecstasy of Gold, Muse did Harmonica... I sure hope bands all over the world (the good ones ofc) do remakes of Morricone's themes... Would be awesome.

I think it's because the ppl who made the video took the audio directly from the amps/microphone. in other words, they didn't record the crowd's cheers and singing. which is a shame b/c muse's audiences tend to be very energetic and enhance the songs A LOT. Knights of Cydonia is one of those songs that sound great with the audience singing along.
