So... from the looks of how you started (at the hook end) there should be a couple loops? So if I wanted to make a bracelet with the loop and knot system I'd really only have to make the knot and make sure I make the weave close enough to the loop end in order to have a snug fit for the knot? I can make cobra stitch bracelets all day long but I've been searching high and low how to make a wider bracelet such as this. Thanks so much and great videos!
A few years ago two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to see if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said "Get the kids and get out of the house, we'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue". The "clown statue" was actually a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this on 10 videos tonight the clown will be in your bed at 3:00am with a chainsaw in his hand. Sorry don't want this to happen to me
I've just made it and I am wearing t right now but I used string and wool instead of the cord you used but with two strands together to make one. It looks really good however it could of been longer as I ran out of string.
Question to you, JD: Is there a way to implement a bracelet thingy in this Triolobite bar? So you can wrap it around your wrist, instead of having 4 loose pieces of rope? :)
@KaysSpace - 450 Paracord from VTArmyNavy(dot)com. You can also pick up paracord from your local hardware stroe, army surplus stores and other online venders.
Thankyou for the clear instructions. I have always made things from yarn and love trying new knots and techniques. Your videos are excellent tuition aids. I have been reading the comments and questions here and would like to add that this isn't an exact science, experimentation is highly recommended, both with materials and techniques. Try adding beads, jump rings and other embellishments into the mix and see what you get. Good fun :)
In all truth you could use this technique to add as many strands of rope as you would like. Only thing is, the piece will start to get really bulky and rounded (slightly messy looking). However, if this is okay with you, go for it. (smile)

@bebop00 Scratch that, I didn't watch the video all the way through until now. So it looks as though I'd have to tie my own loop. Thanks again!
