That's amazig. Just want to watch it over and over again. So much strength, it's not about height it's control, strength and technique. A lot of girls focus on height for the most of their dance, they rely too much on it, it's the old fashioned strength that really amazes me.

this is definitely one of the better Esmeralda variations and her form and costume are very beautiful but I think that there could have been a little more passion put into it. Not that I am putting this dancer down (shes amazing) but it feels like not enough of the right feelings are being conveyed with the dance, not like she looks emotionally static or anything it just feels like there should be a little more, but hey I could be wrong

I know you shouldnt start with the bad stuff, but what the hell did you do to the music at the end?? at 1:04 the chord appears to be wrong?

Otherwise: look at Osipova's famous variation when she was 17. She might be able to bend in many (partly awkward) ways and have a jump like a horse. But her passé is clearly sloppy and does not stick to her standing leg in the turns. You on the other hand have very solid turns, your variation is not about speed or dynamics, there's quality, not bluffing!

now this is finally an esmeralda who is not overacting or looking like a gymnast or freaked out cheerleader. she's exactly how i imagine esmeralda to be. feminine, strong, flirtatious and smart. plus she looks so beautifully controlled, for example before the pirouettes. you can see how other dancers focus during the preparation, just a tiny thing but it somehow seems interrupting. but here, she just continues fluently like it would be the easiest thing in the world. and she's so musical! WOW.

You're magnificent! The control you have and the way you are spot-on with the music is absolutely breathtaking. It's really hard to get that right. I generally love your interpretation of Esmeralda. I think it's a tricky mix - Esmeralda being sad that she cannot have the man she loves, but at the same time holding on to her world of tinsel, because that's who she is, who she has to be, that's what puts food on her table - many dancers don't get this complexity across. You did. Great stuff!

Just WOW. I own a tiny studio in Southern California and am always on youtube looking for inspirational clips for my young dancers. We have one attempting an amibitious solo to this for our upcoming show and in preparation I've watched literally DOZENS of versions of this variation. I have to concur with Hermione below, your control is outrageous. The slowness and deliberateness of the turns, pique as well as pirouette is simply stunning. Well done and keep at it.
