While I had seen Tom Hanks before the movie "Big" came out, "Big" is one of my all time fav movies, because it taught me an important lesson. Maybe it was because I was coming out of my teens & entering my 20's when I saw this or maybe because part of me wasn't ready to leave my childhood behind, the movie "Big" taught me you could keep the best things about childhood with you even as an adult is what I got from that movie when I walked away from the movie theater at the Mall. I never forgot it!
@keyoty1228, The only part of the movie off the top of my head where they sing is the part where Tom Hanks first approaches Billy after the transformation has happened and Hanks ends up singing that song (whose name I don't know, but others probably know) to confirm it's really him. As far as I know, that song doesn't exist anywhere as it's own separate audio track, unless someone literally made an audio clip taken from that scene.
@djbleachburn, well, it's part of the track called "waking up." The theme also recurs elsewhere in the album in the tracks "Zoltar" and "Finding Zoltar."
Thanks a billion zillion dollars for including the Zoltar Speaks fortune telling portion of this timeless, inimitable, enchanted, gloriously brilliant soundrack. Howard Shore is a genius with a giant brain! I'm forwarding the clip's segment to my composer (as if I own him) in Italy for inspirational purposes to write the soundrack for my public art sculptures.

who does that song part with the carnival sound? I would really love to do something with that part
djbleachburn 1 year ago
@djbleachburn, if you mean the part starting at 5:40, that's still part of the original score by Howard Shore.

Many people posted about "visiting home" which is a beautiful peice. Never get tired of it.
The peice is actually called "Its in everyone of us". I've forgotten who wrote it but there are lyrics to it and remember john denver singing it.
