Right, because "Emerl", the robot that appeared in Sonic Battle, got almost completly destroyed in Sonic Battle beacause a Chaos Emerald overload, Eggman found the single pieces and made a Robot out of it, called: "Gemerl"

Yes, definitely this. This is a huge improvement over those. 3D Blast, Sonic Adventure, and *shudder* Sonic XBox360 were terrible. Its just a shame this doesnt hold a candle to Sonic CD or S&K3.

It's a remix of Emerl's theme. According to the Sonic Channel website, G-Mel was rebuilt from Emerl's parts.

Which doesn't make much sense considering Emerl was absorbed into the Chaos Emeralds.

sagitta009, Sonic Team didn't make this game. At all. Dimps did.

Also, I find it odd that someone here thought that Sonic Advance 2 was better than this. SA3 actually had some varied level layouts and more creative concepts, as well as more platforming. Advance 2 was largely a speed-fest.

Also, I liked Sonic Advance 1 quite a bit. It was quite classic in it's presentation, and it was a throw-back experience that actually had some effort put into it, unlike Sonic Pocket Adventure.

Just beat him today on normal mode!! I didn't die once but it took me about 9 minutes and 29 seconds trying to find out his weakness. About 5 minutes in I found out!! Hes easier than Sonic Advance 2's Super Sonic Battle...they give you more than enough rings to have the battle last forever.

I think you've got to fight the final boss again, then you'll get taken to the Extra boss. Hope this helps!

Go back to the final boss, beat it with sonic as team leader, then right after the battle, it takes you to this level. I recommend Sonic + Cream for the final eggman boss because Cream's chao attack is homing.

didn't you ever play Sonic 3 and Knuckles? that one you got to do the crazy ending level only if you had all master emeralds... that was a perfect way to do it instead of only getting to play as super sonic on some short boss at the end.

I have it on Mega Collection. I've cleared that level, and it's the same as the current "extra" zones. But the game lets you play S/H-Sonic INSIDE the levels! (Duh. EVERY Sonic fan has played S3/K)
