@NRG045 if u have any mods then its cos of tht so all u have to do is open %appdata%

then click on .minecrsft then bin then right click over minecraft.jpg and open with winzip/winrar/modloader or whatever u hv then you have to go into all the folders at the top and find META. when u find it delete it but there might ber more than 1 hope it helps

i think there has been misconceptions to this problem, your solution does not imply to "fix" the error, but instead you avoid the error. if you look closely enough, what these do is that it disables your driver from helping minecraft run properly. in other words, minecraft becomes a lot more laggier. (no trolling intended)
