Great set of lessons, however I do disagree with when you say your music has to essentially got to be in the same key as to what you're tuned (B in your case).
If you know your cycle of keys and have a reasonable grasp of the notes of the fretboard, then theres not real reason why you can't play in whatever key you want, no matter what tuning you play in. I personally play in E Standard, but use the key of B alot.
Also, have you ever considered using a 7 string for B standard?
You should make an episode on how to make power chords. I write music on the computer (I just play drums in real life), and always use single notes. It would be really useful if I could know how to write chords.
Have you been on the site Progarchives? It has a nice Tech/Extreme Prog Metal section with btbam and opeth etc. Check the site out if you haven't! :P Could use some examples from there too.
You should do a lesson on scales and key changes. That confuses the hell of me when btbam will be playing something in one key and then it changes.
You should do a lesson on scales and chords. I've been playing nothing but 'blues' type music for years now and I find it difficult to piece together chords to flow smoothly with different styles of music. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

@HunterBernstein idk if youve figured it out already or not. but just put notes that go together on the same beat and then there you go.

How about using scales to convey certain emotions in songs?
