He could have carved his way out of that croc with that hook. Hey, if fairies, pirates, mermaids, indians and flying children can exist together on an island, then why couldn't the guy have survived being swallowed by a giant croc?
Oh...Nice video, by the way. Love the way you concentrated on a warm, positive relationship between Hook and Wendy. Never mind people saying it's "inappropriate". They have filthy minds. :::grins:::
I love that they touched on Wendy's attraction to Hook in this film...and Jason Isaacs' portrayal was the best I've ever seen. I've been working out a continuation of this for some time now.Since Peter Pan refused to grow up...since I HATE the idea of Hook ending up miserable and alone in the belly of a croc...since Wendy left Neverland to grow up...since Hook never did leave Neverland and therefore never aged...Hmm...Yes...Perhaps Wendy could, somehow, find her way back to Neverland and to Hook.
The pairing is not strange at all. It is supposed to be like that: for Wendy, Hook symbolizes the lure of growing up and becoming a woman - experiencing the loss of innocence of childhood through puberty. Freud would love it.
the way i see it peter pan can go crawl back into his hole and die. LOL! i hated him since the cartoon when i was 5 and have had a crush on hook since 5. :D
HOOK and WENDY ROCK!! hey guys theres a book called Hook and jill neverland as never before by andrea jones and its awesome i demand you guys read it XD this video is awesome
Love this pairing! I think people get offended because of the really stupid 'love' pairing between Wendy and Peter, and there's the fact that Wendy is what eleven or twelve years old, so Hook's behavour could seem somewhat inappropriate- screw'em I say. Let Wendy grow up and go back to Hook! Jason Isaacs is the best Hook I've ever seen!
@NewbiereViewer92 have ya read hook and jill by andrea jones (american authour) its about how wendy grows up and ends up captain hook its a brillaint novel
@Cazzah1990 Thanks for mentioning it in your conversation (albeit 2 months ago, i just read your comment!) I googled it and am contemplating buying it as it sounds pretty awesome. cheers :)
Great vid,I watch it all the time! And I love the ship of wendy/hook.Even in the book the potential of the ship was enticing, though not so much in disney's version. The 2003 version is my fav and made me a definite hook/wendy shipper.Because with Jason Isaacs playing hook he was so....something,idk.But anyway awesome vid!Especially the beginning scene.
i dont know why people keep being offended by this pairing. i mean, whoever originally made the peter pan PLANNED it to be that way. soooo, i dont get what the huge deal is.
@thecinematicgirl if by "The person who origanlly made Peter Pan" you mean the person who actually CREATED the story, I don't really think he was planing to ship Wendy/Hook... I read the book and there's really very little that points to them, except for this part which made me go "SQUEEEEEEEEEE *O*" that's is when Hook captures Wendy and he goes all nice and polite offering her his arm... but in the general, they don't have interaction that hints to a cople.
@thecinematicgirl But, if you're talking about the guy who made this FILM, HECK, if he wasn't shipping them both, I'll turn into a turtle! They've got SO MUCH chemistry *o*
Oh my... I do believe I now ship Hook/Wendy...
Ooh and Daughtry are rad live xD
