In the first book it said that, yes, Max was blonde with brown eyes.
They are, in fact, making a movie and it's just going to take a while. It's coming out in 2010-ish. It's going to be CGI so it's not exactly animated.

I love MR, and this is totally going to ruin it!
Firstly, Max here isn't...well...Max! Her voice is too high ad girly, she sounds TOTALLY full of herself, nothing like the troubled teenager we all love so much.
ALSO, wth happened to her wings? They're supposed to be WHIT with BROWN FLECKS. Only Fang's wings are supposed to be black!
I don't even want to know how they're going to mess up the whole character of Fang.
And also, what's up with that bird call?

GOODNESS, the least they could do was put some actual freaking THOUGHT into this. What was up with the hoop earings, and the not brown eyes, and grayish-white wings. All WRONG. I hope the movie's better.

if THIS is the trailer...then the movie is going to be HORRIBLE!!! i hope they at least make real people play the roles instead of making the movie animated...hopefully it will be good though (that would SUCK sooooo much if it wasnt..)

I totally agree with you! I hope the movie isn't messed up, but for all we know they could make Nudge white with red hair and Angel with black straight hair or something. I really hope they do a good job and don't ruin the books though.
