  • That's ok, but if i wanna post an HD link on Facebook how can i do that, i mean a direct link when some one click to play my video so it can directly play in HD

  • youtube in HD NOW

  • youtube in HD now

  • I'm beinning to see a few videos that actually say "Watch in HD" at the bottom.

  • Why are all videos suddenly wide screen? Youtube really seems to be becoming HD!

  • Only a few hours ago the videos are wide and I think I saw that allowances for uploads has been increased.

  • I wish I was as smart as you.

  • ok i'm gonna test by uploading a 720p video and see if it works

  • ty rodney!!!

  • i've tried settign that playback preference several times, it works, but it always resets itself after i log out. so it's too much of a pain, i just click the HQ button, if available.

  • watch?v=HA6B1LL0vSE&fmt=22

    This one has proper content.

    Fullscreen it.

  • = pixulated :(

  • wow. i seriously thought this was real life until i showed my friend and he figured out it GT5 and then i realized it.

  • wow that looks AMAZING!

  • watch?v=JnYyjwVWeHk&fmt=22

Sorry about the weird content, but there is so few videos that actually work with this...

    Fullscreen this bastard!

  • i can't find any = (

  • If I render a video in H.264 with Quicktime in 720p and use 4mbps as the birate, will it be accepted for HD? Also, do you have to embed the video to make it show up in widescreen or will youtube start making the 16:9 videos show up in a widescreen player?

  • I encode using Sony Vegas Media Studio 9 with the Sony AVC format at 1280x720. Check my Q&A video #104 on this. So the Quicktime format at 720 using 4mbps should be fine. Not sure what YouTube has planned, but I'd like to see the HD videos displayed as so. I'd also like to see a HD quality link.

  • @RandomShadowMan It should show up as HD.

  • this is the saddest question ever

    just google iit

  • Half of his Q & A is just "Google it you moron" questions

  • i agree with you

at some moments i personally think why the hell do i watch his videos

his reviews are reading the manual and then this

  • I found out about this feature a few days ago. This will be slow on older systems, my Athlon 64 3200+ chugs on 720p in YouTube. My Q6600 does fine, however.

  • The Core 2 Series made people realize that Intel is the true way to go. Intel Core i7 is out now and is better than anything AMD has.

  • AMD is intorducing a new CPU series on the 1st quarter of 09'. If the claims are true, then AM3 will be better and cheaper than a core 2 series, but not as good as a core i7.

  • &fmt=22 doenst work for me

    &fmt=18 does work.

  • Because tot all videos on YouTube are recorded and rendered to HD.

  • why do some videos not have the "watch in HQ" link, but still work in HQ when you type the thing in the adress bar?

    stupid

  • In many cases it's YouTube glitch or they are not uploaded in HQ or HD :( For example these Q&A videos are HQ (not HD) but not HQ link but you can force it with &fmt=18

  • Keep up gr8 videos:)

  • thanks rodney, great vids

  • nice tip thanks
