That's ok, but if i wanna post an HD link on Facebook how can i do that, i mean a direct link when some one click to play my video so it can directly play in HD
i've tried settign that playback preference several times, it works, but it always resets itself after i log out. so it's too much of a pain, i just click the HQ button, if available.
If I render a video in H.264 with Quicktime in 720p and use 4mbps as the birate, will it be accepted for HD? Also, do you have to embed the video to make it show up in widescreen or will youtube start making the 16:9 videos show up in a widescreen player?
I encode using Sony Vegas Media Studio 9 with the Sony AVC format at 1280x720. Check my Q&A video #104 on this. So the Quicktime format at 720 using 4mbps should be fine. Not sure what YouTube has planned, but I'd like to see the HD videos displayed as so. I'd also like to see a HD quality link.
I found out about this feature a few days ago. This will be slow on older systems, my Athlon 64 3200+ chugs on 720p in YouTube. My Q6600 does fine, however.
AMD is intorducing a new CPU series on the 1st quarter of 09'. If the claims are true, then AM3 will be better and cheaper than a core 2 series, but not as good as a core i7.
In many cases it's YouTube glitch or they are not uploaded in HQ or HD :( For example these Q&A videos are HQ (not HD) but not HQ link but you can force it with &fmt=18

Why are all videos suddenly wide screen? Youtube really seems to be becoming HD!
Mario6667777 3 years ago
Only a few hours ago the videos are wide and I think I saw that allowances for uploads has been increased.

The Core 2 Series made people realize that Intel is the true way to go. Intel Core i7 is out now and is better than anything AMD has.
