Leading male straight out of a Hemingway novel--handsome, angst-ridden, and a bit of an ass. Feel/pacing of the video marches steadfastly with the music--in fact, all elements coalesce to a maturity of intent that is arresting. Damned good directing.
i really liked this video. i didnt really like the direction it went. its not bad. it makes you think, it leaves some wanting to know whats goingn on, even tho its all in black in white right there.
it gets very deep if you want to think about it. why did he have to go off on someone who cares for him to do him something nice when the cold world around him causing issues.
now how does she think? and he doesnt care about his actions?
Why he went off on someone he cares for? When you're upset, you tend to extract that anger and point it towards the first people you see... I don't think there's much more behind this (although I could be terribly wrong, this vid makes you guess after all). I found it really sad how his mother tried to do her best for her son, and he never said one word of 'thank you'. The mother probably thinks there's sth wrong with him, but she's clueless as to what that could be... Or tht he's mad at her...
I would be mad if somebody invading me like that~ jeebus, leave me alone listening to NIN! lol
I love the short film--- but I don't know whether the track used is proper enough... but I still can see it as chanelling that anger to a calmer graceful wave. Great work!
Great photography and acting. Refreshingly, uses the music as a supplement to a fully realized story, as opposed to giving the music all the attention with minimal, repetitive visualization. One of my favorites.
I was completely surprised that I liked this. I never have been one for the whole "feel sorry for me, I'm a misfit teen" bit (even though I had every right), but this video really did make me think about others. Five stars.
I really like the theme and feel of this movie. It really captures the internal struggles of a teenager's life. The choice in tracks was perfect! Great piece of work 5/5.
Nice job!
