I love this message. I love Tony's message! It is so non-compromising... Almost every other teacher is saying "stay as I am"... "stay as the watcher of the mind"... etc etc... this is the only message I'm comfortable with as there is so much life and freedom in it!
I just wanted to give my review of the recordings. I would say the conventional way to record a talk is on a tripod at the back of the room, much like your most recent uploads. I would like to say that I much prefer your hand held, front of the room recording technique. It's different. It's more up close and captures something more than from the back. Plus I like your occasional funny comments. Maybe recording in this way gives more the effect of actually being there in the audience.
Only the apparent duration of silences (and a few questions, etc.) go missing in the handhelds....and the very idea that ...I... could be replaced by a tripod is ludicrous and humiliating! Anyway, it's fun and feels "important". Entertainment between birth and death.
@prhughes0 I don't know. I have heard that one day soon tripods will become so complex that they will achieve self awareness and turn on humanity, replacing each and every one of us!
PR Hughes, you did well -- thanks for uploading Tony's talk. The shots are steady, clear and from a right angle -- also the sound is awesome. Thank you, again!

PR,

@JMac1868
Many thanks for your comment!
Right on, again, Mac!

Happy New Year!

Always enjoy these dialogues. Thanks for uploading. Everything Tony says hits the bullseye...apparently!

sometimes i have mixed feelings about Tony. sometimes his apparent flippancy irritates a bit ... & can, i feel, mislead people.
but he's always worth a listen. a likable chap. & i liked this one.
yeah & great sound here too. Cheerz
