too bad it will be closed down though i never used it as i use OneNote but i like the idea of having my notes accessible anywhere i go..i just found a great alternative to google notebook called zoho notebook whch looks cooler than google notebook..it looks more like OneNote i think.....
Thanks, I first discovered Google's Gmail late 2008 and just recently been using it officially early 2009(I deleted my Yahoo account). I later found more of Google's products very useful and secure, I've been using Google docs for all my research, now I know how to use the notebook and be more organized...thanks!
What happened to Notebook. It was a little clunky in its present incarnation, but it could and should have been saved. Without it, all of us doing data minlng projects are going to have to develop our own, which makes sharing go out the window.
what the hell are you talking about! please tell me there is no concrete backing to your assumption! i will die, this is the best tool i have ever found.
It's posted on their official blog. They are not allowing any further signups and are no longer supporting the browser plug-in. Existing users can still keep using the service, but obviously the lack of new users and dropping support of the plug-in is a sign of more bad news to come. Either that, or they will be releasing features of other services which will eventually replace it. If this were the case, though, they probably should have mentioned this instead, because a lot of people are upset.
i spent a whole weekend searching for this tool. i knew it had to exist.
now i depend on it for everything. it's hard to believe i am alone. either google didn't advertise this well enough (it took me countless hours to find it) or the number of people like me, working on dozens of research projects per day, is small.
Well you asked to let you know if I like your screencast... And I love them... I think google notebook is what I have been looking for and never whould have know about it with out your screencast... thanks
Great! So Helpful. You did a great job!! Thanks.

I know they've stopped work on Google Notebook but they should take it up again within Google Docs. Maybe as a new file type thing.

Gr8 Screencast..Thanks!
Does this mean that Google Documents is obsolete?
and what is the maximum no. of notebooks I could create with a particular user id?
You could also consider throwing some light on the mobile version of the same...
Thanks again!!
