Great flying! You seem very talented!! I myself am a sportsman aerobatic glider pilot from Denmark. And I was wondering if you could tell me which camera you are using to record your sequnces? The pictures and sound are really good!
I wish you many good aerobatic flights, and hopefully I get to see your flying in real life at WGAC (I am an assistant judge at that event)
@tutorialify a used one (they are not built anymore) in good condition costs roughly around 60K EUR including trailer and other stuff and yes that´s a parachute which is mandatory if you do aerobatics.

Markus, I'm happy that you did very well in Championships in Finland in 2010 and in Torino in 2009. I just found the results on civa website. I like your channel very much.
Funny thing happened today. I found the pilot who is flying Jantar "IF" next to me on my Youtube video. The video was taken in 1989 over Poland. The pilot is in Torun. Are you going to Torun this year? I will try to attach my video, no aerobatics, just flying cross country.
@Swiftmaxu hello Markus :) why you didnt put any flight videos in youtube on summer 2010 ??? and are you gonna put flight videos in youtube next summer :) ????? :)
I am not even a glider pilot and I LOVE THIS!! Good stuff, man!! I love the natural sound, too, actually...and the radio chatter...It is great to hear the wind. Thanks for posting.
@pipermac Happy to hear you like it! I try to post more during the coming season without adding music, but keeping the original sound with wind nois and radio chatter.
@Swiftmaxu Please do. I tell you, when you do that first snap roll,I almost came out of my chair! I mean, it was like you are flying a Tornado,or something! Music is nice, but there is something about the wind, which I guess this kind of flying is all about, eh?I downloaded a simulator so I can try this in the safety of my home office. I usually crash or break the plane but one has to start someplace! Posts like this are what YouTube is all about.
Bravo ! Great pilot and great video ! I love gliding and gliders. In Romania we use old gliders but still good ( IS-28 B2 ). For aerobatics we use the glider IAR-35 ACRO .Congratulations for your pasion ! I consider that german gliders are the best !
That depends on the regulations set by your local aviation authority! In Germany it is 450m agl but we have special approval to do aerobatics down to 100m agl. In competitions we also may fly down to 100m agl before getting disqualified.
follow video using this guide: Fig 1: Half positive flick roll, half loop Fig 2: 45deg up, two quarter rolls, vertical down, Fig 3: eight point roll Fig 4: 45deg up, 5/8 negative loop and full roll, negative to negative Fig 5: Hammerhead, negative in, positive out Fig 6: Negative tailslide with 3/4 negative flick roll Fig 7: Pushed humpty, with 1/4 roll up Fig 8: Half loop half roll after that Pushed humpty, with 1/4 roll up, 1/4 roll down, slow roll.
Yep, I´m still experimenting with microphone gain on the camera and my video editing sw....on the other hand, it´s rather loud in the cockpit during aerobatics as well!
Markus!!! This is so great!!! This is IT!!! The real thing!!! Real live sound, real life in the Swift cockpit with all the noises and distractions. I'm so happy to see this!!! It is so realistic, I feel like I am flying with you. Perfect flying, perfect camera view showing movements of controls, I can even see airspeed. This is like an instruction how to do it. Thank you, you made my day! I gave you highest rating,
I will watch it many times, send to friends. Andre in San Francisco.
If I was half as good as you, I'd be ten times the pilot I am now! Awesome!

@MrEngelchen It is all about training and practicing things again and again. I´m sure you´ll be able to do the same thing after proper training.

how do you land?
Davidsuh12343 1 year ago
@Davidsuh12343 what exactly do you mean by "how"?
Swiftmaxu 1 year ago
@Swiftmaxu i mean liek do you have to have special training to even try to fly that and do you have a specific operation of movement in the sky
Davidsuh12343 1 year ago
@Davidsuh12343 in germany you need to get an aerobatics rating for gliders and then train, train, train
