@Bombargo333 You use the slug ammo to get closer to your enemy then use the pellet ammo to blast their brains out at close range. I've found myself using shotguns a lot in Stalker games, especially because of how readily available the ammo is right from the beginning.
Yeah but with shotgun and plenty of ammo for it you cant have that much loot you get on your way because they are sometimes too heavy. But yeah, shotgun in that case might be good idea.
@Steelteeth14 Yes. But I understand how it wouldn't be someone's cup of cake. If you think COD is the shit and want to sit in cover while you magically heal your self this might not be your game. If you rather stay in cover because when you get hit you might bleed to death this is your game.

Don't tell me to follow the arrow or open up the map or any shit like that because I always end up in the same place with like 11 guys who I don't know offering me jobs to kill people I don't know. No tutorial or anything. I don't know how to play god. And I am talking about COP, I tried walk through, other people on my friends list who play it, nothing...
@DonnZ0r And bloody hell, crysis is simple, half life is simple, tf2, fallout 3, fear, all simple in teaching you how to play. But this game gives you next to nothing. You start off with a AK, and a arrow pointing north, in the middle of a forest. Great tutorial.

I LOVE Stalker but only thing Im not cool with is sooooo weak shotguns. Really even in Call of Prypiat its not fixed.
