Lemme break it down

-Had a sony ericcson w580i (Peicea' crap) broke down on me and never worked again

-I'm on AT&T

-got this bb pearl off of Ebay

-Used my same SIM card from the Sony erricson, and put it in the bb pearl

-Now since BB uses internet and updates itself, will I get charged for anything extra?

-plan usage: limited calls, unlimited texting, limited internet usage

-will I get charged for just *using* a BB pearl?

This app only works for the pearl being its the only phone with different colored LEDs behind the trackball. Also you will need to get BlingBall for any pearl uploaded to 4.5 being that ColorPearl is not supported on 4.5 firmware. Any other questions just reply to this comment or message me.

yeah! delete ColorPearl, and download an app called Blingball. Make sure you delete Colorpearl or BlingBall will screw up at times. BlingBall is a lot better and there is a disco option where it flashes all colours, it looks crazy! good luck!

you have to add the .alx file from the colorpearl folder.

okay so you download the colorpearl file on the side of this youtube video.

then you open the file and you see a .alx file and you copy it to the desktop. now you open the desktop manager with your blackberry pearl 8100 plugged into the pc. and you click on application loader and you add the .alx file.

It doesn't take up any more battery to run different colors than the standard color. To change the colors from rainbow to whatever you'd like you have to go Settings > color peral and just change the setting within this area.
