We must pass Water Survival Training every year, the army doesn't even do water training. We are required to run three miles for the PFT, solders run a mile and a half. Ok lets go modern then... all three times I was deployed (OIF/OEF) we took over for an army unit who told us how bad the area was and how it couldn't be cleared... I never ended a deployment without our AO being safer then an American suburb.

~ at this point we stopped talking to them because we couldn't endure that much lazy... the next day the mortar team's bodies were on display in our ECP next to the USMC& American flags

There's a huge difference between the Marine Corps and the Army. This is the basic way that the Marines do. But the Army is a picnic compared to the Marine corps boot camp.
