The pilot is using the callsign "Reach" which I believe means the flight is operating for the US Air Mobility Command. Can anyone sched some light on it?
Fu..... scary that this commander rotate at V1. You do NOT rotate before your pm calls rotate. The aircraft is not ready to fly at V1 IT IS TOO SLOW. Often you will have 15-20 kts split between V1 and Vr if the runway is wet or contaminated and pulling the ac into the air at such a slow speed will kill your pax. This is failure for me at a base check
I like how the pilot doesn't wait to hear rotate he just does it. Whats the point in the 1st officer saying anything when the pilot is clearly not listening.
All, or most pilots of commercial airlines both push forward the thrusters to make sure that once you are commited, you ARE commited & both pilots push forward so none of them pull back or something else happens.
Large Fan Engines have a very unique sound as they make power. The Large Fan actually produces about 5 times the amount of thrust compared to the core engine. That large fan actually makes a sound very similar to a large Turbo Prop as perceived from the ground and in the cockpit. Also remember that you are in a rather old aircraft with much higher interior noise than a newer aircraft. Older insulation, lots of exterior air noise and the like.
The rotation was performed at the correct rotation speed. The flying pilot had simply reduced the nose pressure on the yoke which looked as if he had begun the rotation. The aircraft nose strut began the extension reducing the perceived attitude from the cockpit but had yet to come completely off the ground.
I'm not arguing with you but at 3:08 I think the pilot said, " I don't know why I rotated early..." so maybe I heard him wrong but you might want to check it out.
If it was the case that they did indeed rotate early (which it kind of looks like), one would suggest that the likely cause would be trim incorrectly set perhaps.

Yeah just like a turbo prop with a cowling, BIG bypass ratio :-)

yea, what year is this? There`s very little ATC chatter on takeoff, VERY unusual now-a-days !!

It did appear that he rotated on the V1 call and not onVR
Strange

Did I see this correctly, the pilot rotated prior to v1 callout?
