I love Interpol, but they do get criticized for having a bunch of songs that sound the same. I like this song, but it certainly won't put those criticisms to rest. Also, I hope the recording quality is just bad because this live version really sucks. Interpol isn't going to win many new fans if they continue to look stiff as planks of wood on stage like they do in this video.

I actually started laughing when I heard this song. It musically sounds good, but the lyrics are really awful! It was all about a girl in great shoes, an actress, a history he doesn't want to be a part of and his heart swinging. It was very OC. Pioneer on the other hand, is one of the best songs I have ever heard.
