i went to disneyland again about a month ago and fortunately finally got a picture with jack sparrow! he was very cute and flirtacious! thankfully, he no longer wanders around aimlessly because they converted Tom Sawyer's island into Pirates Lair, where he dwells.
You WILL experience Disneyland someday! Everybody must! Go during a weekday at a less busy time of the year, such as winter or spring! You will have a magical and beautiful time :)
I saw that guy walking around Venice Beach in full costume on one of the hottest days of the year last year, it looked like he had just gotten washed ashore. I wonder what his real job is

I managed to meet Jack Sparrow outside the PotC ride in Disneyland Paris. He was walking around outside the ride doing the whole parlay thing from the film, and i didn't think he was stopping for photos etc. But, i asked him for a picture, and he stopped and i got my photo with him, plus an autograph! He was a really good impersonater as well - he had the right walk and the voice was spot on!
Please don't take offense to Captain Jack's inability to respond for autographs or pictures. He was on his way to his usual "meet and greet" location where guests can take pictures and get his autograph. If he stopped to visit guests along the way, it could cause a major crowd control issue in that area so he's encouraged to keep moving until he reaches New Orleans Square. ;-)

We followed him from his entrance in New Orleans and until he exited to backstage on Main Street 20 minutes later and we were told by cast members that he would not be coming out again, which made us kinda sad, but we still had tons of fun following him around, even if he wasn't going to be stopping for a "meet and greet" :D!!

he's naughty XD he wouldnt stop for ANYBODY. even his escort was like "SORRY FOLKS, CAPTAIN SPARROW WILL NOT BE STOPPING TO POSE FOR PHOTOGRAPHS OR AUTOGRAPHS!" but god, he was delightful anyhow XD he looked at us a few times but probably cuz we were hounding his ass...and at one point we almost crashed right into him, his reaction to that being pretty damn funny, but o, am i jealous of your friend....
aww don't worry, I was jealous of her 2!! HAHA. I think she ended up getting him in trouble. it was very obvious that he liked her so when she walked up to get a picture (it came out like a total perfect pic 2!) she wrote #??? in the atuo book and he actually gave her his digits. His escort didn't like that at all. Maybe that's why he didn't stop for u...sometimes the escorts are BITCHES! Especially when they're girls.they don't like to share, haha.
u just have to be persistent I guess and wait until he's walking around with a nice escort. i wonder if we are actually talking about the same jack sparrow. i think there are like 3 that work on dif. days.
o man, hahaha!! that reminds me of the time when chip from chip and dale obviously had a thing for my mom (back in the 70's of course, not now XD;;). And ya, the escorts were kinda bitchy ^^;; but o well, they're just doin their job, and i don't blame theme for being possessive of jack sparrow.
you know mr. depp hangs out around disneyland too! he has an annual or lifetime pass or something. but many cast members do spot him and they say he's pretty polite just minding his own. that's be pretty funny if he was saw you following an impersonator of himself! missing a chance with the real captain.

hehe, he did only a couple times to give us the classic Jack Sparrow, wide eyed, "wtf" look...unfortunately not in this video ;[
