  • Michael Wittmann volunteered for Allgemeine-SS that ran concentration camps and death squads to kill civilians. Wittmann was good at killing but that does not make this SS bastard any more respectable. He was part of SS, NAZI enforcement wing, and not part of German army. BURN IN HELL WITTMANN.

  • 2:28 i know its just a replicca but when did tigers begin use same tracks as t-34?

  • I had never seen a rocket attack from airplanes of WW two. The video is very detailed.

  • 3:23 Love this British guy, he is such a fair play man

  • it hurts so bad to see a destroyed mighty Tiger Tank :´(

  • TIGER is best but russian suicide mentality is beter.never EUROPIANS can"t understand russian souls.

  • wittman was killed by candians not british

  • @RJrigges this claim has been disproved apparently. the official explanation is a british firefly killed him, hitting the upper hull, igniting the tigers own ammo causing it to explode and blow the turret off, which is what happened to a lot of iraqi tanks during the gulf war.

  • @sinistergnr

No it was proven that a Canadian tank knocked out Wittmann's Tiger, Wittmann was the farthest away from the British at 1000 to 1200m while he was only 150m away from the Canadians.

The penetrating hit in the rear of his Tiger also matched with a shot coming from their location.

  • @sinistergnr your wrong on that watch michael wittmanns last battle a guy goes thru and shows what happened

  • "i could not but admire him , he was bold , he was tough and ruthless, a fine example of a german tank commander"

  • oh my god that tiger replica they got is ugly...

  • @scassidy0526

    FO nazi sympathizer !

  • i feel sorry for the guy at 4:47

  • micheal wittman's tiger tank number was 007. the vids is 433

  • Wittman was boss...

  • @Beakle

Wittmann was Nazi and died like idiot.

  • @Urvakhsha

How come you think he was a nazi? :P

He was a soldier.. he had nothing to do with politics

  • @Beakle

He was in fucking SS and proud of it. He can rot in hell.

  • @Urvakhsha

He was in the SS because only members of the SS were allowed to drive a Tiger Tank you uneducated moron. Being promoted from the Wehrmacht into the SS does not necessarily mean you are a nazi. And Wittman was no Nazi.

  • @Beakle

Example :Tigers served in Africa corps. A Heer not SS you moron. Heer had Tigers in tank battalions (exp. 502nd heavy tank battalion-Johannes Bölter). SS was organ of the Nazi Party. He joined SS you moron. And certainly not to command in Tiger tank LOL At the end he was moron just like you. So i can see why are you defending him.

  • @IrOn26igb

Millions of dead don't lie you Nazi fag. “gekämpft mit allen ehren des soldatentums” real elite heroes killing and torturing children, women and old people. Nazis ware aggressors they deserve every shit that happened to them. Nazis lost that means that they ware wrong. Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind.

  • @IrOn26igb

Yes German people suffered because of Nazi wrongdoings. You reap what you saw. And if Nazis won we would not be talking now...and i met many persons and relatives who ware in the war. And who would be those bosses ? Yhudim ? lol

  • Operation Goodwood was a disaster for the allies, despite all the carpet bombing by 1,500 bombers, they missed most of their targets, German positions held firm. When the British attacked they were killed by the Tiger's 88mm and Panthers long-barrel 75mm and by Flak 88mm artillery and by PAK 43 88mm artillery. The British lost over 500 tanks in Operation GoodWood, over 40% of Brit Tank force in Normandy. It's funny how this documentary neglected to tell the truth of what happened after bombing!

  • Russia fucks all ! You remember that little German boys and girls.

  • lol the old man, i respect him but he looks like a rat like splinter from ninja turtles

  • RIP WITTMAN!

  • @dazypvp Michael Wittmann volunteered for Allgemeine-SS that ran concentration camps and death squads to kill civilians. Wittmann was good at killing but that does not make this SS bastard any more respectable. He was part of SS, NAZI enforcement wing, and not part of German army. I can't believe that you would wish this murderer peace. BURN IN HELL WITTMANN.

  • Unfortunately the German's made the mistake of committing their latest German Royal Tiger tanks which should be deployed in the Russian front where it is much more effective but instead used in the Battle of the Bulge instead of using their much more reliable German Panther tank & if they have done this, then history would have a different ending. A well balanced tank is the best tank that can also combine economy and mass produceability with anti-aircraft protection overhead against air attacks

  • If that queer, Patton, was fighting on the Eastern front against either the Germans or Russians, he would have got his ass kicked. Instead he fought against ill-equipped and inexperienced Germans on what the Germans called "the sideshow fronts." Of course Patton thought they were the greatest and most important battles of the war since her commanded troop in them.

  • @thegoosebrain I'm American and a Patton even I admit that's true

  • @thegoosebrain Oh yeah, I can think of a few battles on the Eastern front that were more decisive than D-Day. Kursk would be my top choice, I always felt like that was the true turning point.

  • wittman died in a Borrowed tiger bearing the number 007 the turret was blown off

  • Always listen to Rommel

  • @turban45 Yup------he was right in trying to kill Hitler...

  • The Tiger ace Wittmman... he died inside a panzer IV ausf H... he was not ambushed into his tiger, for ambush one tiger, need at least 10 or more shermans... = impossible.... 500lbs bombs or rockets from air force could stop it very easy... Shermans dont...

  • German production records indicate that all Panther "Tanks" mounted the 75mm canon which also was in the Pzwk 4's and Stu III's. The JagedPanther (not a "Tank" with a turret) did have the 88mm, only 600 or sp produced.

  • haha 2:24, reminds me of lotr: "you, shall not, PASS!"

  • The last true tank that Germans produced was the panther, last panthers had 88mmm guns mounted on chase. The tiger 1 or any other tigers made were not in realty tanks, they were pillow boxes on the move. The super t100 or the Mouse it was as a nasty stronghold bunker on the move. The only true weapon against this monsters was 500lb bomb, even if dropped next to the tank the shock wave will kill the crew. For the movie they could build a real Tiger 1,not this t85 make over.It looks like shit.

  • @alukea123 WTF Germany still produces tanks, the Leopard is one of the best tanks around

  • @alukea123 What is your point?

  • English Stoicisim "The shot bounced off .... Which is a bit disheartening" RIP the two crewmen.

  • Image if the Germans succeded to massproduce the Tiger!

  • @Nefus1988 They would have been able to conquer Europe and Western Russia, but it would not have worked with their current leadership. Because of Hitler's involvement in the military and his focus more on politics and propaganda rather then defense destroyed Germany, not the allies. He was an incompetent dictator that butt his head into everything and in doing so the potential victory in Europe would have been very short lived. But Tigers en mass would have a devastating effect.

  • Puhahaha 3:48 showing young handsome days and old burned days after meeting tiger.

  • That's a T-34 at 2:20

  • my god, those flies on those bodies...

  • TIGER phobia Michael Wittmann, impressive.

    HISTORY CHANNEL great .

  • A Sherman Fire fly killed Wittman I think. Hit his tiger 5 times with a 17pdr before he died. I maybe wrong.

  • Flugzeuge gegen Panzer feige?

Kinder, das haben wir doch auch gemacht!

  • That videos are great but in fact the Tigers were not atached to the panzer divisions, they were deployed as independent heavy tank battallions temoparily atached to panzer divisions to improve his strengh

  • Wie immer im Kampf Panzer gegen Panzer ging nichts!!! also? FLUGZEUGE

In meinen Augen ist das Feige!!!

    Gruss

    A KRAUT

  • That English commander has more balls than Whitman, even thought he has a weaker tank he keeps trying destroying the tiger.

  • @gauloiscalifornien How do you know Wittman wouldn't have done the same thing if he had a weaker tank? They were all brave.

  • michael wittmann was killer by a Canadian tank not British. and im pretty shure the "tiger tank " they keep showing is the one of of saving privet Ryan., not a real one. i could be wrong i just think it look's odd

  • @slim77k Of course this Tiger is NOT original, the only one in the world in working order is at the Bovington tank museum, this one is made out of a T-34 chassis and yes, is like the ones that appeared in Saving privater Ryan.

  • @slim77k whitman was very short handed and anyhow he attacked

  • @netlogboy American armored doctrine was based on using tanks solely in a support and exploitation role, usually in conjunction with infantry. Tank destroyers, such as the Hellcat, were to be used against tanks. To this end the Hellcat was not intended to engage in protracted combat

  • @netlogboy The main disadvantages of the M18 were its very light armor, and the inconsistent performance of its 76 mm gun against the frontal armor of later German designs such as the Tiger and Panther. near the end of the war, tank destroyers were increasingly used as self-propelled artillery in support of infantry for lack of any other targets

  • at 3:45 ...we met head on, which was not good news.

Cool bastard, fight against Wittman at close range, survives villers bocage and the war and still compliment his combatant.

May be you can destroy british tanks but never the british humor.

  • @MrTipula This British Officer is a Gentleman

  • Comment removed

  • Americans kicked kraut AZZ

  • @neverindoubt reparations such as invetions and Patents taken by the U.S. and the UK amounted to close to $10 billion dollars. However I understand you it´s the only gain you feel to crow over the past while Germany have overtaken the US economically.

  • What they fail to tell us is that, the British tank column was mostly composed of medium Cromwel tanks and light Vicker scout tanks, both of wich have no armament that can deal with a Tiger... I assure you, if the tank column had been made up of Churchill III's or VII's, it would have been a different story.

  • @biggee316 "During this short engagement (Villers Bocage), Wittmann's company destroyed 4 Sherman Firefly, 20 Cromwell, 3 Stuart, 3 M4 Sherman OP, 14 half-tracks, 16 Bren Carriers and 2 6 pdr anti-tank guns"- so were was the different story???...

  • @pistonssssss what about the Killed in Action Crew´s ? It´s easy talking

  • @ozeangruen I don't understand you

  • @ozeangruen sorry what I mean is that soldiers are human being and with every destroyed tank crew are 4 killed humans

  • @ozeangruen It's 5 humans killed, except in the T-34 76 which had only 4

  • @ozeangruen each tank have a human crew

  • Das OKW gibt bekannt : Das war kein echter deutscher TIGER 1

  • this is a fake tiger tank

  • @rammsteinfreak1996 Yes, this looks to be the fake Tiger that was used in Saving Private Ryan. It's a Russian T-34 dressed up to look like a Tiger. The big giveaways are the running gear, narrow glacis plate and small size, but all said it's a pretty good imitation! :o)

  • @hrobjartur Actually they use 2 T-55 with makeup..

  • The fuhrer should have used his poisonous gasses , and his armored divisions to sweep the juden forces from the beaches of sacred Europa

  • @Napoleontas

The German's were the only ones to have Tabun, Sarin, and Soman nerve agents.

But, you see, we don't want to ruin the delusion so many have that Hitler was a madman! He couda and shuda, but didn't. He didn't because after talking to the chief scientist involved, he was lead to believe the Allies had them too, or at least could produce them in vaster quantities; thus, they gave the German's no clear advantage! Hitler was more rational than his enemies give him credit, but what ?

  • @konigtigertank Exactly Kamerad, the Fuhrer was too soft, softer than he should , contrary to the juden propaganda

  • Is that re-enactment tiger sitting on a T-34 wheel base? or rather track base?

  • hitler was AFK, what a douche

  • @btar93 LOL

  • 5:36 Michael Whittman was not killed by a Brittish Tank it was a Canadian Tank that took him out

  • wittman tank was not destroyed byy another tank this documentary is wrong. wittman got killed by a plane shooting rockets to the engine part of the tank and blew the turret off the tank everything i was amazed how powerfull those rockets were but a tiger is weak in the top of it so is not a surprice.

  • Tiger Tank is kick ass

  • Hey there is a mission on company of hereos in villa bocage, where you command the tiger and kill the british tanks!

  • Wittmann had such a good Kill-Streak that Day lol, no seriously, it's incredible what happened in villers-bocage. something like this will never happen again. RIP Wittmann , a man that understood to get out the most power of a vehicle, no matter if it was a tiger or a stug.

  • @sixtymetal At least it was a Canadian that Killed him

  • really good documentary, outlining the strengths of the mighty tiger tank, very excellent documentary, kudos to KingTiger88 for uploading the videos

  • blah, blah, blah about killing wittmann by brits tank.... yeah..... that was an anti-tank cannon used by polish soldiers from polish brigade you losers! remember that - FOREVER!

  • @marcinwolski1976 - Historians say, the credits go to Joe Ekins, a gunner in a Sherman Firefly of the 1st Northamptonshire Yeomanry

  • @MegaLiopleurodon: which historians? british? americans believe wittmann was killed by american airplane -typhoon! everybody wants to put probably the best tank commander in history on their kill list!

  • @MegaLiopleurodon No No its been proven it was took out by a Canadain tank Have you seen the shw Battlefield Mysterys Who Kiiled Michel Whittman cause they say the Britt took out 3 tanks but the 4th which was Whittmans was only 200 yards away from the Canadians but the Britts say they killed 3 tanks and they were the ones on that side of the field by the Britts but the 007 Whittman tank was close to the Canadains try Google Michael Whittman u will see or watch that show

  • the german had a kind of tank called sturmegeschutz 3,

    small but deadly,

    cheap to build,

armed with a howitzer or tank killer gun.

the allies were behind in tank tech at that time, pity the crew

  • Running into a Tiger would screw up your day for sure.

  • the Tiger was a very good tank but was too expensive other tanks such as t-34 probably the best tank in ww2 was mass produced and very powerfull

  • A major problem with the allied tanks was that the 75mm cannon was not good enough to defeat the Tiger. Another problem was that some allied units had no experience working together (British armor with US infantry. Patton vs. Montgomery, etc). After the allies developed better guns and tactics did the Tiger lose its effectiveness. Patton was successful in defeating many panzer units. The Russians developed tank killer teams that were very effective against Tiger tanks especially in urban areas

  • @AccordGTR, Brits but 17pdrs in some Shermans & the USA had the long 76.2mm Shermans & when firing HVAP it could knock out Tiger I's at 500 - 1,000m or so from the front, but could not penetrate the front glacis plate of the Panther although the front of the Panther's turret was penetrated at long range. The short mid-velocity 75mm Shermans couldn't do much except from the side, rear & top, but they were able to knock-out Mk!Vs & STUGs etc..

  • The techology not advanced so quickly without GERMAN MASTER !!!!! First jet airplane first roket first stealtch technologii!! Now the best cars, the best tank, the best discipline !!! Respect this NATION !!!!

  • why not? look what Tigers did in russia which is much bigger than afghanistan

  • wittman....a idol...im proud...cause he was grown up nearby me...rest in peace..knightsoldier

  • best tanks of all time....like the entire german technology.... 1 Tiger > 10 Shermans :-D

  • whatever it is...nazis head had been cut off and that's for real. No matter Tigers or Panthers they had use during the war. They lost the war and honnor...

  • give me 1000 Tigers and i conquer Afghanistan in one week.

  • @Rico8458 Gosh, don't know much about geography, do you.

  • when i play cod i get in the tanks and kill everyone...yup a real badass..yup

  • you are apsolutely right ...ignore my stupid comments....tiger would won one on one..but cant against 20 tanks...

  • tiger is a beast...and i dont believe those stories that t-34 was the best tank in ww 2

  • @MyFudo - It always depends on your point of view. One on one, German Tanks were absolutely superior, as stated by the Veterans in this vid. But the Soviets manufactured more T34 in a month than Tigers were built in total throughout the war. WWII was a war of attrition, and T34 was indeed a war-winning machine. 20 dogs can kill a Tiger !

  • i do think you are rigth but if we talk abaut who had the best tank i asure you the germans where the best only the did not have the industry and man power to build enough tanks to compete whit russia or usa

  • @SuperGian82 - Yup, as I wrote, they were superior one on one or if the other side mounted less than 7vs1 in a battle.

You're right, the American help for Germany was absolutely insufficient.

Confused ? Google "Profits über alles", and learn how the largest American Companies,

such as GM, Ford, Texaco, DuPont, IBM, ITT,

Coca-Cola and countless others earned Billions, by selling their products to both sides

in WWII. How they demanded more and more slave-labourers, working without payment.

  • Actually, there were ~130 Tigers in Normandy with ~15 of them Tiger II's, & all of them were lost. ~655 or so Panthers served in Normandy & most if not all were lost.

Sherman with USA long 76mm firing HVAP ammo could penetrate the front turret mantlet & armor of a Panther at ~800 - 1,000 yds. range, but not the front glacis plate at any range, & could also penetrate the front of a Tiger I. Problem was a severe shortage of HVAP ammo.

  • @christof139

    Youre talking B.S!

Only 90 Tiger 1's were in Normandy and 15 Kingtigers were in Normandy. 13 of them were Porsché Models! Dont say stuff you dont know any about it!

  • @ThePanzerWarMachine, Hey dummy, I never said there were more than 15 Tiger II's in Normandy, however, after those were lost they were later replaced & fought on the West Front. Actually, this film is wrong & there were close to 126 or so Tigers of all models that eventually fought in Normandy see 'Normandy 1944, German Military Organization, Combat Power and Orginizational Effectiveness, by Zetterling, page 59. BTW, your name is hilarious.

  • @christof139

okay, i see your point i thaught you said that a 126's tigers were on the Normandy battle at the same time. but only 90 were in Normandy. and if i may ask,

    why is my Name Hilarious?

  • @ThePanzerWarMachine, No, 126 saw service in Normandy, not 90, but there were never that many in combat at the same place or time.

Your name is funny because it makes me laugh because you must think you are a real trooper. Ha ha ha!! And a real experten. Ha ha ha!!

  • @christof139

So, you think i am Funy because i like Tanks, ey?

explain to me what you means with ''Trooper''

I just ike tanks and War Vehicles in General, thats all..?

  • @ThePanzerWarMachine, Yeah, a 'real trooper'. Ha ha ha!! It is sarcasm. Tanks & other AFVs & history & warfare are interesting but not many people actually 'like' them.

  • @christof139

Lots of people like tanks, lots of people like guns, lots of people like knives. Doesn't mean they like war or death, just that they like cool bits of engineering that also happen to be used in warfare.

  • Actually Rundsted was right, if Rommel had used the Panzers on the beaches, allied naval gunfire would have chewed them up.

  • I've got a LOT of respect for all tankers regardless of which side they were on. Going into battle inside a high value target is bad for your health. I'd rather be an anonymous infantryman that's hardly worth the bullet to kill me. Tankers are a special breed of man. God Bless them all!

  • @randy95023 Statistically, a tanker is safer than a front line infantryman. At least he is protected from bullets, blasts and shrapnel. All he has to worry about is a direct hit or a large mine.

  • Wittmann's tank was ambushed by an AT, several of them, not a "British tank", besides Wittmann's crew had a replacement tank at the time. So here goes a fat FUCK OFF to the History channel and all the kikes who run it, yet, again.

  • @vonRass

wittmans tank was destroyed by canadian tanks checkout 20th Century Wars channel the last battle of michael wittman very interesting!!

  • @ 'von Rass'....Wittmanns Tiger was taken-out by a Sherman Firefly....you ARE correct that the Sherman was an American Tank..but it was the British that dumped the original Sherman gun and fitted a British 17 Pounder gun....and the Firefly variant was on used by British and Canadian forces.

  • @RifledBarrel He's a Nazi bigot, screw him

  • @vonRass Hey, a big eff you , you ugly old Nazi scumbag, remember we won the war your shitty grandfathers' started

  • loads of scientific plans have stolen by americans and soviets after war from Germans. Most of ppl can call them anything they want but also we have to be thankfull that nation in science

  • @kkaraburun Just as Von Braun was glad to piggy back on the prior work of Goddard.

  • @kkaraburun And the Germans paid license fees through Switzerland to Hamilton Standard for the variable pitch propellor. The German aircraft all used the Wright patents, and never paid for them. So did the Germans steal those technologies? Should all the world be thankful to the US for science?

  • @kkaraburun It's called "spoils of war". No need to thank Germany for science. They owed it to the allies for starting war in the 1st place. Many German scientists surrendered to Americans cuz they were afraid of the Russians since Germany attacked Russian civilians. It was choice of survival for them. Still, how can you thank a people who used science for weapons of mass destruction? That's just plain dumb.

  • funny to see, that all of your grandfathers were in the waffen-ss and of course officers:) give me the proof!

my great-grandfahter, joachim hesse was holder of the knights cross, cornel and commander of a panzergren regiment of the wehrmacht.

    cheers

  • Da stimme ich dir zu,ist ein Lacher

  • Sieht das nicht putzig aus wenn der angebliche braune "Tiger" mit seinem Schmalen T-34 Fahrwerk über den Hügel kommt!?

  • Did you notice how before the tank commander said "You never wear the headset on both ears" But the Wittmann impersonator put it on both ears.

  • My grandfather was killed in this battle. I feel no malice or anger towards the germans here. Good soldiers on both sides by this point. I feel sad for the English losses and sad for the german losses. I sometimes feel that the germans have never had their voice heard like we have. Just listen to the casualty numbers on their side. Anyway, " age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn, lest we forget".

  • my father fought in this area after this battle he was a ss caption your grandfather sounds like a good man as of my father .

  • Thank you for your kind words. My heartfelt respect to your grandfather. I wish they could have met after the war, my grandfather was also a captain and a very dedicated soldier. I have done a lot of research into the war and the german army. A fine force who suffered terrible losses, not because they were bad soldiers but because they were brave soldiers. Only my opinion. Thank you.

  • so who was your grandfather? tell me the name pls. i have a list of every ss officer of the divisions Frundsberg, Hitlerjugend, Das reich, leibstandarte, hohehnstaufen and totenkopf

  • @mathiehesse Wow, only a skinhead would care about the names of all those Nazi brutes.

  • Skinheads has nothing to do with politics you indoctrinated moron. Learn some history or shut the fuck up dickface troll.

  • @moOswe Aren't skinheads trying to copy the dreaded SS and Hitler Youth who rounded up the Jews and other minorities to be rounded up for concentration camps? They were units who were fanatically loyal to Hitler and Nazi's. The regular German Army was there before the Nazi's came to power. Most were professional soldiers who just obeyed the chain of command but not necessarily believed in Nazi ideology. Skinheads are misguided youth of today believing in white supremacy as the Nazis did.

  • @AccordGTR The answer to your question is simply no. '

Look it up it aint that hard, ever used google before? :S

  • The waffen ss were superior warriors and not criminals!!!!! the ss members of the nazi party is another story!! the allies have mixed the waffen ss with the political ss!!!!!

  • lies lies lies

tell the lie 100 times to become the truth

    146apollo you shood read more.

  • Waffen-SS was condemned as a criminal organisation due to its essential connection to the Nazi Party and its involvement in war crimes.

  • @146apollo the waffen ss gets equal blame because most of them would spend their recuperation time after injuries and such being concentration camp guards, sometimes they would be sent there for disciplinary actions aswell. Not to mention the numerous war crimes they committed against civilians, but i will agree with you that they were great warriors, they were just completely brainwashed with the ideals of a lunatic.

  • If the germans would had start the war in 1945. They would have maiby won the war. Because the me262 was produced, tiger 2 would be masavly produced maiby the Maus 7 would haved been produced, the stg 44, ect. And they would have masavly produced these, they would have won the war

  • The technology probably wouldnt have advanced so quickly without the war being on.

  • Exactly. World War II pressed industry to design new weapons fasters.

  • @kingtiger88 actually, the tiger was a copy of the T34, copied from the russians, who are and were superior to the krauts

  • @neverindoubt The Kingtiger wasn´t a copy of the T-34 because of different drive mechanism, armored protection, and Gun. The T-34 is a medium tank and his advantage was the easy maintaining and high production rate.

  • @neverindoubt hahahahaha. only in your dreams, fool.

  • ur forgetting the atomic bomb mate by the americans

  • ha the yanks didnt give a fuck untill they realised the germans wer trying to make it

  • the atomic bomb was made by a pure german and americans had german reasearch learn your history

  • but it was made in USA lol i know it was made by German refugees from Germany. Most of them were Jewish too.

  • khm.....the Atomic Bomb was founded by a hungarian man, called Leo Szilard....he founded it in America.

  • well there were 300,000 sceintist working on the atomic bomb, so yea Leo was probably one of them.

  • he and an another scientist were the "brain" in the team.

  • yep, and that stealth bomber was made by germans, and then americans stole the plans..
