It may say that language is embedded in genes, and it's likely communication instructions would be embedded in genes, but the term 'animus' is lifted from Jung's terminology. Whoever wrote the website didn't make it up, they got it from Jung. You can't use an existing word for a similar thing, then claim you never heard of it used in it's previous context.
