I stand by that comment.... you can't ride a foot from the barriers and expect a clear path. Crowds at cycling races are nothing new.

Why do they let people so close! It's like the marathon, I remember a brazilian runner who was leading by litterally a minute and some and got caught by some stupid guy that jumped the "0.01inch fence" supposed to keep people away from the road! and grabbed him and ruined it all!
