Acne just isn't only damaging to your skin, but also to mental health: It would not be nice to hear folks usually mocking you for your acne! @MegokiOniSueKari agreed, used it as a teen and it did not wrk for me at all. benzaclin did, and dermatolagist did. now i use alb products which are all organic and no harsh chemicals.

Personally I have had good results with this...I have a super oily face.

2TBSP of water - 1TBSP of Lemon Juice and 1 TBSP of Vinegar.

Wash face with soap then put on face leave for 15 minutes 2 times a week (Monday - Thursday for me) then wash with cold water.

Then every night I wash my face with soap then I put Clean and Clear Deep Astrigent 41% and 2% Salicylic Acid.

This works for me and its simple to do and its cheap which is why I love it. Costs maybe 8 dollars for 3 months.

actually, i'm going to tell all of you the truth, i DO NOT BELIEVE in DERMATOLOGY and those stupid doctore. I have been to four of them, and none of them have been able to help me.... all they did was give me some stupid pills and cremes and they never worked... so here some advice.... save you money and just DEALLL!!! Realy it will be less emotional and less painful,,,, yes i have scars, ubt i guess i was just meant to have them.... DERmatologists dont help at all.....

Maybe you should try ask them for chem peels or laser treatments? Pills are just surpressing the condition and it will just come back after you stop taking the pills.

My acne condition was horrible until I went for chem peels. Apparently dirt and clog pores causing my acne was deep under my skin so I have to keep doing chem peel to finally get my pores cleaned. I did a total of 5 peel every 3 weeks and now my acne have cleared up and old scars almost gone.

How does it look after the first chem peel? Does it look any differenet?

Depending on how strong the solution your doctor will be using. Normally for mild peel, the face will be a little pinkish for 2~3 days. If stronger solution is used, the face will be slightly red for maybe like a week+/-.

Other factors include how sensitive is your skin and if you have ever use any acidic products like AHA, BHA pior to your chemical peel.

A good dermatologist will be able to give you a better advise. Try to stay out of the sun a few wks after your peel and sunscreen!!! =)

what really works is a acne toothpaste ya i kno it sounds stupid but it really works and first rub a small amount of vergin olive oil keep on for 5 minutes and steam fave and rinse oil and use a small amount of the acne toothpaste or reg. toothpast and keep on for 5-10 minutes

the next best thing to this is fill up your kitchen sink with hot water. put your face near the water and cover your head and the sink with a towel trapping the steam. Pretty much same idea but free!!

Yes toothpaste works, because it dries up your acne, which helps to stop the acne from growing and reduces it. But the problem with toothpaste is that you can't put it all over your face - it only works as a spot-treatment. If you applied it all over your face, your skin would have a very rough texture.Just doesn't look good. Benzoyl Peroxide has the same effect(bad idea!).

So for people with severe acne, or a lot of acne all of the face (such as mine), toothpaste isn't very helpful.

so if you use it for spot treatment expect the pimple to first turn red from the irritation

then shrink

then POOF magic LOL its gone

it probably will take 3 days though.. depending on the pimple
