I understand where you are coming from on this, but the fact of this band they have been out for awhile now. What I'm trying to get at is unlike some music bands out there where they do it for the fame, or the money. These guys do it for the pleasure of being able to play, I've seen them once in concert and got to go back stage to meet them, (sorry if my English is bad) point is I got to talk to them and they all said the same thing,

@markaum Im not a cello player but a drummer, so I admit not being completely familiar with all "cheats" other musicians do, maybe you are right but I still believe someone played distorted guitar in this track, and if not, then I congratulate the producer for doing a hell of a job emulating an overdriven guitar out of a cello.

Well, lets take Perttu as an example. He's 29 years old and started playing the cello when he was 5 years old. Simple calculation shows that he has played the cello for 24 years. That's quite a lot. Maybe your friend should practice more :P
