@BreastsIsBest You can sand it or use something called an adhesion promoter. It comes in a can and you put it on like spraypaint.

@BreastsIsBest In my experience you don't have to use primer unless you are painting a controller that is black or any other color besides white/grey. There are some very important steps that this guy didn't explain very well, so if you need help you can go ahead and ask me or go to this channel user/MyCustomXbox. Hope this helps.

@AngryKittehPoo so, I'm planning on painting my controller (ones you get with the xbox slim) orange. So first I would prime, then adhesion promoter, then paint? or just prime, then paint. thanks!

@BreastsIsBest If you're going to use the adhesion promoter spray that on first, then the the primer, then the paint. Then you HAVE TO spray on a clear coat otherwise the paint will just come off. Its also a good idea to wait 5 to 7 days to use your controller so the paint can cure and be a lot more durable.

question... I'm using the krylon fusion clear coat... but it makes the blue paint go from a dark blue to a light blue any idea why? like it lightens the paint, not even like an orange peal effect. it makes it look lighter, it starts off like your blue without clear coat then goes skyish blue with clear coat.

Im doing a controller that has a similar concept where the two colours merge on this controller.. I just want to know how to do that with krylon fusion... I mean do I do it the same way??? If not please explain to me how to do that, because its my understanding i will need multiple coats... I dont know how I would go about doing that... What are your thoughts on using Aerosol Can's for the Adhesive promoter and Clear Coat. (I would use an Airbrush for the color part). Do you think I would still get a quality, and durable product.
